This. Maximillian has it and says its at least as good as Vanilla Marvel netcode so take that for what it is. All that tells me is I wont pull off 1 frame link combos online since in Vanilla Marvel that was the only thing I couldn't do online and that was enough to prevent me from sticking with Spencer early on...could never pull off the armor piercer link needed after my air combo to go into his super.

Like the man says though...till we see server load go full on we wont know what to think.

I live in Japan, and the connection is great over here. The only issue is I'm on PS3, and Japan doesn't care about DC

If SSBB counts as a modern fighter then I would say that THAT has the worst netcode.

SSBB online was weird, I played it a few times years after it came out, there were still people playing it, but..... I think they may have gone insane from suffering through all the poor netcode for so long.

Every single match I played, all anyone did was taunt, just taunt the entire time, if I hit anyone, everyone would instantly attack me and gang up on me for 2 minutes until the game ended.

I don't really count Nintendo games because the whole online system for Nintendo is ass. Friend codes? man get that crap outta here.

The worst netcode I ever experienced was back when I played whatever the first Smackdown v Raw on PS2 was that had online. It was so bad, game was broken as it is but when you have lag abusers and crap it's even worse. This is when ppl had dial up..you can only imagine how bad it was. Someone picked up the phone, your done off.

It wouldn't be worse than the MK9 netcode. I don't really think we have too much to worry about. I don't really play online too much anyways.
