P!
I like this thread
that was the prima guide...I take everything as far as these early tier lists with a grain of salt. Remember MK9 in 2011? Yeah I do too, the so called "best" was Shang Tsung!!
This man has it right. Dumpster is unbeatable.S+ Dumpster
he has an infinite combo .... teeheeheeLex? cmon now..
who cares. He typed three names then went in depth about some stuff. Troll or not there is good info n here. Why does it matter if he made a tier list for 3 characters? You wasted more time typing a complaint than he did making the thread. I usually rain down hate on reo but this thread isn't hurting anyone.Lol Demo Tiers? Seriously? Game is out in 2 weeks. What's the point ppl
Lets clear something up, WW can not zone with those projectiles that is not what they were meant for. Her tiara is punishable on hit -___- and has a long animation. Her shield throw is only slightly better.I have to disagree between Batman and Wonder Woman. Now mind you I only play at a local level but WW has too many tools to be placed below a broken Batman. WW can zone, play keep away, get in on zoners and has 40%+ punishes. Her B32, D3 and J3 are godlike, her parry and MB Lasso add to her damage and debuff the opponent. She has 3 AA attacks, two which can lead into 40+% combos. She is just very VERY solid and we have only scratched the surface with her potential.
We all know Batman and Lex are both currently broke. Chris G even mentioned Batman has been fixed in the final version. he also mentioned Lex is kinda suck. If this were Vegas I would put more stock into WW being the better of these 3 once the full game is released and we get more out of her Sword and Shield stance.
How punishable? Noob's projectiles are negative on hit.Lets clear something up, WW can not zone with those projectiles that is not what they were meant for. Her tiara is punishable on hit -___- and has a long animation. Her shield throw is only slightly better.
Brief breakdown on Lex:
- Lance Projectile is advantage point-blank on block. Gives enough advantage full-screen to safely set-up a Probe on block.
- Probe has many ways to set up into. Probe conditions players to either block or panic to avoid the shot. If they are conditioned to block, Lex can come in with his overhead (f+heavy) or low (b+light, hard) 50/50 that leads into death combos. If they panic and try to get hasty, Gravity Pull (d,b+medium) should catch them.
- Jumping hard is one of the best jumping attacks. It can be hit-confirmed into his tackle (b,f+medium) at any range including max range.
- Charge (b,f+medium) sets up a hard knock-down in which the opponent cannot roll after. Pretty solid whiff punisher, too. This is easy probe or mine set-up on hit. Can also be used in the air to maneuver.
- Mine (d,d+hard) is solid tool that acts as an obstacle. It can cause people to jump over to try and get in, force them to wait it out, or keep them from going near your "X marks the spot". It is very versatile and can make the opponent feel uncomfortable when used right.
- Orbital Strike has great synergy when used with Probe for a guaranteed unblockable hit that jails on block when executed properly. Meter burn version has the ability to set up resets that launch the opponent to further extend on traps.
- Trait is spectacular for his foundation. You can end all combos into trait for armor abuse. Having armor and doing things like jump-ins or Charge to make it harder to punish are just a few of many ways to make use of his armor.
This is just scratching the surface on the character. There is much more.
Under Batman.
Lex - 10
Batman - 9
Wonder Woman - 7
It's funny once you the jump 3 in action and check the frames on his probe and lance blast you tend to gravitate towards that play style. I myself ended up playing like this.i agree with lex being the best out of the 3 for those reasons exactly. that is how jer and i were playing him at least. all set up based. using other specials like projectile or orbital to set up other specials like orbs etc. he has good control of the screen
