concerning GameStop midnight releases

I checked with my nearby GameStop and the employee there said they need about 50 pre-orders in order to do a midnight release and they were already apparently at 40. I've already pre-ordered the Battle Edition and have to pre-order another copy for my son, so I guess it's safe to say my GameStop will be doing a midnight release.

Just an fyi to those planning to do this as well. You might want to check because I don't know if the location of the GameStop effects the amount of pre-orders needed.

You wanna get the game at 12:01AM Monday night, right?!

Actually did the same thing today myself. The employee told me they would know weeks within release so im assuming next week or so. but its interesting bcuz another gamestop down the road said that the midnight release there would be a guarantee.. either way i also have a pre order at wal mart for AC skins so i guess it wont matter either way

I don't even know if the nearby Gamestop is doing a midnight release.

They did with MK9, so I think it is safe to say it'll happen again with Injustice.

Couldn't you get a midnight copy at Walmart? I work at one and pre-orders generally arrive on truck in site to store boxes before release dates and are held till then. If you found a rep that night at midnight they have your order in the system. Just show them your ID and look it up with or without your confirmation email printed and you can pick it up if its there. Heck for that matter freight arrives on 4pm trucks and is sorted by 7. Night shift starts stocking the floor around 10:20 pm with whatever freight they have on their skid for the day. They should have these by midnight easily ready for customers so long as they have someone in electronics that night...considering its a secured area they have to have at least one person working that department.

I was going to pre-order from walmart but I had heard from numerous people that they almost never get pre-orders right. (at least at the one nearest me) 1. They either have no idea what your talking about and cannot find your game or 2. They end up just giving you a regular copy (which means you dont get the preorder bonus). I ended up just going with Gamestop to try and avoid extra hassel.

Yeah this sort of thing really is dependent upon the quality of the service at your store. Mine is filled with older employees since in WV you dont see folks leaving jobs if they manage to find any so they're good at what they do. However in better areas I could see turnover being higher and quality being lower. If your store has a bad rep then yeah ditch em.

If I get my copy at midnight you will all know. I'll go into online that night.

Lenox mall needs 14 more
Perimeter needs 20 more
Chamblee need 30 more
and Hugh Howell needs 20 more

I'll be at lenox 12:01

Storms its usually different per store ...will range from 50-100

What everyone and every scene needs to do is team together and ALL target one store to guarnetee it

The guy at my Gamestop also said there was a good chance they would be putting the game in their demo for people to play while they wait to get their copies, and they might even be having a tournament to win some stuff (they mentioned the Battle Edition as a potential prize...). It's worth asking an employee or manager of they'll be doing anything like that.

Really likes to throw things at you.
Man... the Gamestop stores in your guys areas suck lol.... In Dallas there are like 6 Gamestop stores within a 5 mile radius and they will combine all the preorders to one store to get midnight launches.... my midnight launch was confirmed like a month ago lol.

Hey guys, does anyone know how soon Amazon would have the game shipped to me? Do they do release-day delivery, and if so does it cost extra for a non-Prime member? They're giving a $10 credit on the game which is way better than DLC imo

Also how reliable is the release date delivery, is it guaranteed on that day? Any potential for me to be getting it a few days early/late due to standard mail fluctuations?

They did this at my gamestop. Some skanky dude with a dragon necklace kept picking scorpion because he knew shit from the demo. Everyone else was picking different characters and having fun. Also me and my friend dressed like this...

I'm Noob, would have went reptile but couldn't find green material. Yes I sew.
