Look at you! LOL. You've played games your entire life....for what? My question you ask? Okay. IF you could get back every dollar you have ever spent on video games with the promise of never going into an arcade or buying the latest console or compuer, can you do it? I could now, I'm certain. I've probably spent btwn 10k-20k on gaming. I'd take that back and never touch a game again. Would you though?

Personally, despite the male bonding and good times, I'd bet a truck load of cash most of you would at least accept 20k to never touch a game again. Honestly, my estimate was conservative. My total contribution was probably closer to 25k. An estimate........

I'd easily take 25k to stop gaming. I'd bet you would too........if the money was for real.

I guess I misunderstood the question. I understood it as: If you were to erase your memories and experiences related to video games in exchange for the amount of money invested in them, would I do it?

My answer to that is no. And as for the actual question, unless I'm in a time of need or someone I care about ia, it'd still be no.

It is a community thing. I mean it does not hurt me (well at least not noticeably) and I enjoy it. I have gained many good friends through a common interest games so I keep playing them.
Honestly it is best not question why we do things such thoughts go downhill real fast.
