I can understand that and it's a totally valid reason, but in my opinion it's not really a big deal. It's pretty much just aesthetic. If you took the exact same moveset I'm thinking for Killer Frost and gave it to someone like Terra (just replace "ice" with "earth/rock") nobody would complain about redundancy, but it would be the exact same thing for all intents and purposes. When I look at the situation in that way, it just seems like such a minor issue.

While we're mentioning it, I think this game could use an earth-based character. That would be badass. A fire-using character too, but I don't know many DC characters that use fire. Do they have anybody like Human Torch from Marvel comics?

The biggest flaw with MK9 save the punchline netcode is the shit sound design. You could hear a pin drop sometimes. Early builds of the game were way too dark but the final product didn't suffer that problem. The overall graphics aren't a problem as long as you put in dat no blood code. Other than that it's only problem from a competitive stand point were that online scrubs got to dictate balance.

With any luck, Injustice will have none of these problems.

Firestorm would be awesome to play as but he not popular enough to get in
I don't think DC has any fire characters that casuals will know

How about earth/rock characters? The only one I could think of was Terra from the Teen Titans cartoon.

I think if they used Terra, it would have to be comic Terra whose personality and backstory is a complete 180 from what fans of the show know. But who cares. She's dead anyways. Both of them.

I still lol at the fact that Deathstroke had sex with a 14 year old (Terra)
ya Terra was kinda a bitch from what I've read from Teen Titans (haven't read much of it though)

Well, neither have I, just read up on it after the show, and found out that Terra wasn't a misunderstood heroine who went with Deathstroke because he offered to help her control her powers and grew to regret betraying the Teen Titans. In the comics, she was a sociopath and she happily passed information to Deathstroke. In addition to sleeping with him.

Why do they need to know them?

They could be introduced to the characters and love them! At some point, they were introduced to the likes of Batman and Superman too. They aren't gonna learn of characters without someone showing them. Why not Injustice?

It's got most of the biggies already anyway.

There are no obscure characters in Injustice so far so I'm just doubting we get any at all
