Did it. But I'm betting that gamestop will just reveal when the schedule says to. Regardless of how many members there are.

I wonder if this is because we found out about Doomsday early and they aren't ready with the necessary materials (Screenshots, renders, video) for the reveal from NRS yet. I find it odd that they haven't updated the position of the bar at all so far.

We actually found the url to the video already in the last thread about this. Turns out it leads to a blank youtube page so they dont even have any footage yet to unlock. Plus they also dont have any renders of their playable character even though they know its Doomsday.


They made the extremely amateurish mistake of having Doomsday's name right on every file related to unlocking that image and you could just right click view page source to see who it was. Worse than that though is they never set up any permissions on the page assets. I simply hit backspace on the graphic url and suddenly I was in the parent directory for the page with access to view every file including PSD files for how they made the fake image previews for their character and video. When NRS gets them some footage we'll have it. I really don't think they've fixed this yet, but they should and they should also change url's to the video for when they do get it. Its a good way to drum up attention but geez 4th graders check this sort of stuff now and both DC made this mistake netting us Shazam early and Capcom which netted us all 12 UMVC3 character reveals early. We should be past this.

Anyhow yeah...no footage exists yet. Sorry.

I would think that they would make the video private when it is eventually posted until an arbitrary amount of time has passed. But then again GS has been showing quite a lot of incompetence when it comes to this promotion, so who knows?

Yeah it was a mess. This was the URL that was found which still has no content. Most likely it will remain unused and the video will be uploaded elsewhere when it comes available.

and the next link FINALLY has permissions on it so you can no longer access all the files and graphics to view them early.

It was really funny when they changed the image themself to stop showing Doomsday and show a saddened troll face named herp derp to mock their own incompetence on that one. Live and learn...it was a bad day for the web designer and at least they could laugh at it as they fixed their goof up. BTW they didn't even have a current render of Doomsday so they just shopped DCUO Doomsday into the reveal image lol.

I know, I can't believe they didn't even have a render from Injustice for this promotion. They are either incredibly lazy, or they just haven't even gotten the promotional materials for Doomsday yet and that was just a placeholder, but even then, why have that as a placeholder if nobody is supposed to see it until they move the bar themselves? This whole thing was such a botched job from the start, they should just scrap it and post the video already.

Even if it's time based then nothing is lost beyond 30-40 seconds of a person's time. Well worth it if this turns out to be real and no big loss if it's time released.



Edit: The bar is definitely moving, don't know if it was because one more person joined or because another day passed. Regardless, just drop the friend request to me if you haven't already, better to try then to just have some "wait and see" attitude.
