I have little experience with a stick and know that for exampple SF4 a stick is mandatory to compete at a high level.
Is this the same case for MK9?
Is this the same case for MK9?
Quoted for truth. And the same goes with MK.^Stick isn't mandatory to compete in SF4 in high level.
its all preference man.
That Lao was PerfectLegend, he uses a PS3 pad for MK. Heck, a ton of players are using pad THTB, Brady, Wong, REO... This game doesn't require 360's to be performed hence it being pad friendly.I'm watching the teamsp00ky tournament and the guy who played Kung Lao was really fast.
Is that type of gameplay playable on a pad or is it too fast?
That is my main concern. I plan on practicing my heart out and I'm hoping pads don't have a limit.
it is if your character has full circle movements.^Stick isn't mandatory to compete in SF4 in high level.
its all preference man.
That's why Vangief obtained top 8 at Evo last year with Zangief on a ps3 pad right?it is if your character has full circle movements.
ps3 pad. not xbox 360 pad, which is what i was talking about. That's why Vangief obtained top 8 at Evo last year with Zangief on a ps3 pad right?
It's complete preference. most people grew up playing mk on pad, and that's fine. Don't think buying a tool that doesn't have to do with actual in game stuff (Like dlc characters) will make you bad. It's all about what's more comfortable for you in the long run.
Bingo.ps3 pad. not xbox 360 pad, which is what i was talking about.
I think it was because Vangief, could do the walking 720 by using forward on the d-pad, and spinning the analogue stick. Caught alot of people off guard because, they've never seen it. Extended walking Ultimate Atomic Busters. Now that's debatable, if you had that kind of unique setup on a stick with two direction inputs. That's why Vangief obtained top 8 at Evo last year with Zangief on a ps3 pad right?
Perfect example. When you really get down to it, skill > controllers. If you're good with something, then you're good.ReveLations MK Grandfinals-Kabal Mirrormatch
