Chances are high that MM is not in the game, period. No point there in having you ASSUMING what "might" be the case and what not.

PS: I'll eat a broom stick if Professor Zoom is in the game.

That's the way I'm in real life as well.
I tend to confront people, if they think they know their stuff, but in fact they actually don't. Or if they talk and talk and talk and everything is obvious anyone, so it's a waste of time for everyone.

You should learn to chill out and not take some things seriously, especially on the internet.
If I would get all moral and whiny if someone disagreed with the shit I tend to post, I would have commited suicide long time ago.

I'm a fast reader.

But you never understood my very first post.
It looks like Martian Manhunter won't be in the game. I'm not saying that he never will be in the game. He very likely will. Hell, I wouldn't even wonder if they would discover parts of him on the disc, just like it happened with Skarlet, yet she arrived later on, when she was finished.

For now, Martian Manhunter is not in the game and for now the game is DONE. It's finished and you'll get the product they'll created up until now. For everything else, there is simply not enough development time.

That's why you're overcomplicating it by stating stuff that simply doesn't matter and is for some part wrong.
I'm not saying that you shouldn't do it, but damn - don't turn it into a more dramatic topic than it is. We already have enough going through our minds with Injustice, because of Ed Boon.

You know what Kevin and Keith tend to say: "Keep it simple, fellas. It's not that serious."

Didn't you have to rebuy Shuma and Jill in UMvC3? I don't think I've ever been able to play as them.

That was the case, yes.
But when I think about Cashcom and DLC, I mostly have Street Fighter X Tekken in my mind.

That was the the lowest moment of Capcom so far I think.
And when one of the Capcom guys was asked what he thinks about the fans outrage and overall thoughts on the DLC bullshit, he was like: "I am very disappointed that there are some gamers out there, who hacked the game and are now able to play the content, before everyone else can play it."
My biggest wish in that moment was to punch that guy in the face with aaaaaall the strenght I have.
DAMN, that STILL pisses me off.

Fuck Crapcom, seriously. I'll never buy one of their games new. Used only.

Wouldn't know, never picked up the Ultimate one. If that IS the case, then that's even more reason for me not to. Shame too, was kinda wanting to play as Ghost Rider and Vergil. But I think it's too big a kick in the nuts to buy the collector's edition of the game, then a few months later they release a "better" version. This and the way they treat Mega Man is reason enough for me to treat anything Capcom makes with more skepticism than a new Final Fantasy game. If not for the fact that the demo was fun, I probably wouldn't even have considered getting DmC.

EDIT: Thanks for clarifying that Killzone. Yeah, I won't be getting UMvC3 then. Fucking Capcom.

Damn, that's so bad. That's like...buying a new house, only to find out that one of the rooms is locked and you have to pay for a key to open it. Then when you try to open it yourself, they get all pissed off and call you entitled. Just boggles my mind, man.

Also, weren't there like, twelve DLC characters? I considered trying it out after the latest patch, but I heard you still have to pay for half the roster. There's no way in hell I'm supporting that.

Capcom really tried to see how far they can get away with it.. Im pretty they got the message that the FGC would never support something like that again.

Man, I wouldn't be so sure. That game gets a lot of support from popular streams, has huge prize pools, and lots of the pro players are attracted to the money attached to it. If anything, Capcom's learned that they can get away with it if they continue to push it post-release.

Yeah.

I remember a funny discussion on SRK when that happened and a guy was trying to justifying it by comparing it to a box of donuts.
He said that you buy the donuts and you don't have to buy additional donuts, if you don't want them.
I never bothered to respond to that topic, but actually it was more like you going to Mc Donalds and buying a happy meal, just to find an additional donut in it, but you were not allowed to eat it, if you didn't pay them more money.

What many people who buy and play games don't know / understand, is that publishers don't get all the money from a 60$ game.
They get around 27-30$ from it and the rest goes to the retailers and the gaming manufactury, so they come up with more and more DLC content, which is often clearly ripped out of the game simply to sell it to you afterwards, so that they don't have to share that much money with other people.

It's the consumer who suffers, because publishers don't get a percentage of the used game sells, so they think that they have it too bad and the one way to get more money is by lying to the consumers and milk the shit out of their wallets.

It depends how they go about it though.. What they did with the SFxT dlc was terrible.

The biggest issue with SFxT isn't even the fact that they had so many finished characters on the disc and sold them afterwards.
The bigger issue is that the PS3 version had an entire mode more than the X-Box 360 version of the game and that Crapcom was lying to the consumers. Really LYING straight to their faces. But they didn't get away with it, so they came up with a different lie.

Well, all this wonderful discussion just reminds me why I'm here talking about and supporting NRS and their games, rather than being on some Capcom forum.
