Are there any confirmed modes so far aside story? Like a arcade mode, which I know should seem obvious. How bout anything about an unlocking extras area such as MK's Krypt?

Arcade Mode is in. A Mission Mode which may be similar to MK9's challenge tower, but with comic book storylines has been mentioned when the Red Son DLC was announce.

We know from the Red Son pack that there are missions and stuff, and there've been hints about an Injustice equivalent to the challenge tower.

But I don't think anything has been officially confirmed.

Some stuff from the WB chat, what I can remember anyway.

You can turn off stage transitions, which are separate from stage interactions, so you can turn one off and keep one on.

Throws are not like MK, easier to break, and the direction of throw does not matter for what button you have to push, if you throw someone during their recovery animations they can't break the throw, or if they are in a situation where they can't block, like being frozen.

Pushblock is called block cancel and it costs 1 bar of meter.

You can do button config from the options menu like MK9, or from the pause menu, or from the character select menu.

There may have been some other stuff but I was paying more attention to the matches.

Matches? MK9 or Injustice?
Damn, did I miss something? If it was Injustice, is there a record somewhere? (But I really don't think it was Injustice)
Oh and thanks for the informations.
Oh and what game is that in your avatar? It's not Aion, is it?

Hmmm, I wonder if characters will have different health totals. Personally, I hope they do. A guy like Grundy who pretty much needs to take some hits before he can get any damage off will need more health than someone like Harley who can get a lot of her damage from afar.

Yes I was wondering the same thing too. I would see characters like Bane and Grundy and even Superman or Shazam, having more health just for the sake of argument. It will be interesting to find out.

Having more health isn't required. The difference in damage dealt in people's attacks, accomplishes the same thing.

Harley attacks faster, but she does less damage. Grundy attacks slower, but his attacks do more damage.

It's essentially serving the same purpose.

I do NOT want them to unbalance the game for competitive online or player v. player matches but, for casual player v. CPU play only, I think it would be really cool to have sliders be able to tweak individual aspects of CPU characters. For example, give some of the characters you mentioned more health, speed, or damage output to make them more like the comics. They do things like this in other types of games like NCAA football where you can set a difficulty level for computer AI and then tweak individual settings to further refine your experience against the CPU. In the situations where you are not playing another human opponent and you are just playing for casual fun...why not give the player the ability to tweak the experience? I would love to set an overall base difficulty level and then tweak the individual characters to unbalance them and make them more true to the comic (i.e. give Flash more speed, improve Batman's AI, increase health/damage of the stronger characters).
