Manhunter would be great, and if it's personal preference that's fine. But to say "they're powers work well" can be said for anyone really.

I see people say this but let me saying something: ANYBODY's powers, or lack thereof, can be used in a variety of ways. Seriously, think of the worst, non-joke Hero or Villain you can and they can work in a fighter. Even somebody like Piper can work.

Such as? Beyond a Beast Boy, which would be way too much time, effort and money to implement, or some ridiculously designed character I can't think of many.

Atom Smasher, The Atom, The Spectre, Phantom Stranger, and any Blue Lantern, off the top of my head. Really the only one that could cross my mind as could having any serious involvement in the story, but whose moves would be to technical to work out would really just be the Atom from who I listed.

Too technical is just like Beast Boy, there's a handful of characters like that but even if it's, let's say, 30 percent of the DCU, and I'm being generous, there's still 70 percent that fit. I just don't feel people saying "they fit" is a valid reason. Again, I don't mind if you want X character in, that's your choice, but the "they fit" reasoning doesn't work.

i just meant characters who have no hand to hand fighting skills or like B or C listers who arent popular for those that shouldnt be in the game

Well given the fact we're like 18 characters in so far and despite the fact I had never heard of a pretty huge chunk of them (#comicilliteracy), none of them can be called 'obscure' by comic book standards at all, apparently. At least from what I can glean from postings on this site.

So we should all probably forget about that "obscurity" thing. Because true character obscurity looks like this:

Eh, I don't know about that. I'd bet Swamp Thing has some pretty decent brand recognition, even if it is probably because most people are thinking creature from the black lagoon without realizing it. Point is, most people likely know the Swamp Thing name.

I think SHAZAM! is probably the standard bearer of obscure characters out of the whole roster right now. Never heard a reference to that guy or anything before this game and even some of my comic inclined friends were like "who the fuck is that?"

But like I've said before, I don't know dick about comics. Nightwing was obscure by my standards.
