hdmi cable would still be needed IF we wanted 720p gaming. I typically bring mine, but I'm not there until sunday. On Fridays people go, but unless you plan ahead to go with MK heads, won't be no MK folks for you to spar..

Im going to reach out to phire again. He is running the show over there. I'll see whats going on thats like 5 people should be enough for him to make moves.

I sent Phire an email inquiring about casuals this week, and it appears they are only being hosted on PS3 as well as the tourney on Saturday night. I dont have a PS3 compatible stick (yet) so I will have to either spectate or come thru in a few weeks , since my stick wont be ready for PS3 play till after the 25th.

However if anyone is planning on going to 8Bit this weekend and has a stick they could lend me, I will happily buy you San Loco or any meal of your choice ;-)

Pm me your information, I am going to buy a stick this weekend for playstation tired of this. Consoles will not stop me from playing this game. Sacrifice dont want to be free at ECT lol. I lend it to you but we just cant play each other hopefully there will be other people there.

Or even better if you bring the console ill bring the cables. What time do we need to be there ? I dont work weekends so anytime would be fine. Let me know.

NYU student here. Just letting you guys know I'll be planning to join the NY MK scene once August comes around as long as MK9 doesn't die after EVO like the SF guys believe.

i doubt the game will die out after EVO i am however hoping the fair weather players will dissapear and the people that really want to play will stick around so the real Mk scene will progress without the spamfest that seems to be the current trend

I stopped by 8bit Saturday afternoon (2pm) the guy working told me that gaming is open on Sunday's from 5pm til 9pm and the cost is $5 they use 360 consoles and they also have tourneys every 2 weeks that are fairly casual and the entry fee is $5 so it's something to look forward too

Me and Trini were there yesterday.
They actually dont close at 9pm, as long as ur there before then you can stay and play longer than that. Txted u and Frankie btw.

Apparently since MikeG doesn't play MK, he doesn't know it's supposed to be on PS3...I informed him of it last night but he says "there will be ppl expecting to play on XBox." so no, you should save a trip. Next time though I will drill it in his head. At least I saved you a trip. :p

I know, but none of these guys are MK9 players..the ydont know. I was also at CEO so I couldn't personally harass him myself. :( Regardless, because I play stick, I'll be there tonight since I don't have a system preference.
