Where does CD and his brother live in NYC? anyone know? its a crime that we have good mk9 players in the city but still not getting together.

what time are people going to 8bit tomorrow 7/10/11 i stopped by there today and i was told that people are usually there at 5pm but can show up whenever i can be there around 3

Ok, I messaged a couple of people here, with no reply, so I'll try posting it here. I'm in NYC, The bronx specifically. Can travel and do want to get better at this game. (347) 541-7121 That is my number TEXT me if you live around the area and either want to meet up, or know of a place. This is my last shot at doing much in this game probably going to drop it if I don't get any offfline games.

im starting to feel he same way im prob not going to drop the game but im gonna give up at trying to support the local scene if people dont respond as to when they're meeting up at game store sessions i need to get in some human vs human offline play online is iffy at best and the offline computer gets boring after a while

Hey, just letting you guys know that over in NJ, we've been trying to get people to come to this game center, Local Battles. They just joined TestYourMight. If you don't mind the drive, come down on Friday. It's in Fort Lee, which is right past the GW Bridge, so it's really not too bad. Check the NJ thread if you guys are curious.

A bunch of us play at 8Bit and Up in Manhattan on St Marks Place. (Off 2nd ave) Casuals are Friday and Sundays.

Theres also a tourney this Saturday there.

Theres plenty of offline going on right now.

I'm glad you mentioned the tourney for this Saturday it will be live streamed as well. Also I will be at 8bit this Friday as well for some mk on ps3. I'm usually there every Friday for the mk but I will let this thread know when I'm not but you can all still go when I'm not there since phire will be. All you have to do is bring your own set up. Oh yeah pricing at 8bit has also changed to the following

On dojo days its $5 an hour or $10 for the whole night.
sorry for the inconvenience this is causing but our electricity bill has been going up.

Again I'm there on Fridays from 5-10 but you all can stay until phire wants to close up shop.

The tournament this Saturday is $15(10 for pot 5 for venue)

8 bit and up is located

My main goal is to keep the mk scene alive. Please help me!

Ive been to local battles and all I have to say about it is that its GODLIKE! The amount of set ups they have is crazy(20+ xbox360) everything lagless. It makes me wish it was in nyc but its not that far from port authority. Its like 30-40 min bus ride. Adding mk to salty battles is great can't wait to go there again for the next salty battles! Oh yeah another thing is that the people is really nice at local battles. They make you feel as if you are at home and I'm not trollin' at all

I live in the soundview(Bronx), And I really would love to play some locals, Sadly, I'm not sure if I'm old enough to do all this junk, by the way, do the folks at 8bit supply you with controllers or is it BYOC? I'd hate to bring my pad cause it's all broken and junk, But hey, atleast I'm getting me a madcatz te.

Hey guys to let you know there will not be a session this Friday at 8bit due to everyone going to local battles for salty battles 3. Sorry for the inconvience this has caused but hey you guys should be going to salty battles anyways. Going to tourneys is the best way you know you have progressed. Anyways I'm going to wcg this weekend as well see you all there!
