Thus far it seem more universal, it's just a coincidence that this is all we have to go with so far. How much meter or whatever the repercussion is for using it remains to be seen..
just like how foolish kabals ex dash is.. with armor and being able to cancel to carry over armor and stay safe.. for all when know the same can be done :O and im sure it takes meter.. but still.. its give chars a pretty braindead way out of pressure or a set up...
time will tell
Not necessarily. All "armor is scrubby" means too many players are under the impression that d4 on hit magically makes the rest of their normals zero-frame. I'll mash out armor all day on someone thinking they've got all the time in the world to throw out whatever blockstring they feel like. And this is coming from someone who plays characters with the most unreliable armor in MK9, if they have any to begin with.
The distribution of armor in MK9 is atrocious yes, but there is 2 sides to the story as armor for what it is goes. Call me crazy but I personally don't see what's braindead about Kabal's EX dash, it will get stuffed if someone just tries to throw it out on any given projectile. Likewise nobody should even need meter to beat a Sub-Zero player using him like it's Power-up 2011 by n0w. I don't think it was handed to certain characters just to give them an easy way out, rather NRS, being NRS lazily couldn't think of another way to make the enhanced version of some moves, well.. enhanced. Hence why the DLC characters have more armor between them than more than half the original cast.
That's just my take on it and I'm just saying I don't see why some players get so riled up about it. Some of the best launchers in TTT2 that leave the opponent with no option but to tag crash and nullify their rage are jab punishable at best and everyone just gets on with it.
