Hey guys whats up! It's your boy rolando VP of Video X Games St. Maarten. First off thanks for all your interest in VxG. I'll try my best to answer some of the questions i saw here.
Me saying 200 does seem like a lot. But, i say lets shoot high and hope for the best right? It would mean basically all 117 people who came, and another 80 people coming as well. Considering many players didnt make it to NEC, i think 150 is very doable, no? 200 would be super though, thats why i went for that number.
Honestly, the idea of giving the trip to a raffle winners is a great idea, probably something we will budget for next time. However, we do have something else in the works. It's nothing big, but, we are arranging to have ever MK player at WB to get a free St. Maarten T-Shirt, something like what Reo won. Like i said its not much, but it would be pretty cool to earn a shirt from a Caribbean island i think
Oh and Ok so Reo gave the trip to CDJR indeed. But the rule still stands: you cannot win a qualifier more than once. So IF reo wins at WB, then 2nd place would win the trip.
We have a 3rd slot for another MK qualifier but won't announce what that might be till around January. But i'd love to hear what tournaments you think would be a great qualifier?
