what's a good use for buzzsaw? it knocks them down and for the life of me, all can think of for a follow-up is either a bomb or teleport.

i've recently discovered the joy of the sticky bomb (bb4+block), i'm probably spamming it every chance i get. i don't even find myself using his x-ray anymore because of some of the combos i can do now. my problem is i usually end up with the same starters such as 11~ or 33~. what'd be a better way to start it off?

Is there any good use for the exploding teleport? it has so little range, doesn't do much damage. is it to interupt the opponent?

thanks in advance ;]

How the hell do I get people off me when they're pilling on the pressure? I've tried everything but all of Cyrax's moves seem to slow to knock anyone away before they can start another chain on me once I've blocked it. I've even tried blocking the chain then hammering all the face buttons and they still get me before I can hit them almost every time. :/

2nd question - wake up options? Once Cyrax is down I have a hell of a time getting up safely if the opponent is close - he doesn't seem to have anything to get up safely. I try the teleport but his teleport is far, far too slow. If his buzzsaw move had invincible frames on wake up it would be great and finally have a use.

These are my only two gripes with him really but they are both two major flaws that I need to get round to step up my game.

I agree cyrax has a real tough time with pressure and crossover pressure since he doesn't have great anti air moves(his air grab blows IMO). But one way to get someone off you is EX teleport but it doesn't net you enough dmg or space to prevent them from getting right back on you.

Yeah that's the only thing I know works, but using 1 bar every time somebody rushes you down is a hell of a pricey way to do it, especially when his ex bombs are so important in my play.

Surely there's some option that doesn't cost you meter.

Poke 'em away with low 3s or 4s, then do a normal string like 1,2 xx net

Alternatively, poke away, pop out a close bomb and then stand on top of your bomb, if they run in to pressure, they'll get hit by the bomb.

Thanks, I'll give it a try next time I play him.

honestly the best wake up option is to simply block, also you could try ex rag doll its pretty quick, hits low and swaps places handy if your in the corner, breaking stings use low poke canceled into close bomb or net input as db,3 db,3 or 4

question about cyrax, bomb setup. command grab to bomb, dash 22, NJP Back+2 sticky bomb, net. after the net i have been using ragdoll throw and getting 40%. is there a better way to maximize damage without an xray? Let me know if im doing it wrong. thanks

don't use the sticky bomb in the bomb trap its a waist of meter,
CG, midbomb dash 22, nj.p b2, dash 121, anti air is 42% and meterless and can be done reliably even under slight lag. If you want to end with a net use, CG, midbomb dash 22, nj.p b2, dash 33, net. the dash 33 has slightly more strict timing but still not too difficult, after the net you can finish with 33 ragdoll throw (42% but builds more meter than the first option), or uppercut (40% but easiest option) or attempt a reset

thanks nubi.

Whats a good option when I catch a player who is mid air in my net. Is there a good combo that deals substantial damage from this state? i have tried NJP B2 net but the net drops immediately. I havent labbed a whole lot on this but im feeling slighted when i get three or more mid air nets per game and am not able to gain more than 18-20% in a punish. I know theres options. Any suggestions?

Ghost. After a air net grab do the following. nj~1/2, b+2, 2~1, bb+4(bomb trap) or 1,2,1.

I dont know if you guys know this but his ex net takes 1 bar away from the enemy. So if you catch an opponent on a jump punch into 1,1 or 1,2 or 3,3 do an ex net then the cg set ups to ensure a longer break.

About the ex net. go to weds/nf go to time 21:00
And after a net hits always teleport to build meter!!!
Oh ?
How can you do a successful combo after his ex teleport? They said he can but i have tried all normal starters. Does it have to hit anti air?

hey all.....am currently making a vid about Exclusive Human Cyrax and the difference between human and cyborg...as well as in general combo vid as well as other exploits.
i have a question, what do u guys know about Human Cyrax in general? anything u noticed so far? if you have any info that u can share then please tell me cause it might be very useful to be added in a one big tutorial vid.also your name will be credited of course!

I have trouble getting the ragdoll finish after (Njp > dash > xx > b+2 > 1.2.1) any tips on he timing? I find the anti- air grab much more consistent though less damaging as a finisher (full combo including jump in > 3,3 / 2,1 is 37% for ragdoll but 34% for anti-air grab)

Edit: Thank you all in advance

What exactly are the differences between human cyrax and cyborg cyrax? Also does his EX net still take 1 bar away from opponent on hit?

I often do D4 to buzzsaw. It's a confusing down-block to high-block and is almost guaranteed damage. It can be a bitch if you have your opponent in a corner.

I usually use the exploding teleport only if my opponent and I have low health and he keeps trying to jump over me. You can sometimes link an exploding teleport to an uppercut in this case. Also, human cyrax has a faster teleport and you can almost always link his exploding teleport into a combo, even if you and your opponent are just standing next to each other. Other combos are more useful though, and in general, human Cyrax is slower and crappier to use.

Hammering on the face buttons won't help. You can try rolling backwards, doing a wake-up air grab, wake-up teleport, or wake-up buzzsaw. Nothing is guaranteed. It depends what your opponent is doing.

In general, human Cyrax is slower, but he has a faster and safer teleport that you can sometimes link to a combo if it's EX. Human form has a lot more difficult time doing those massive combos that yellow Cyrax has. His bombs also have different distances. I think human Cyrax's chestsaw has a bigger hitbox.

How? The only differences I'm aware of are that human Cyrax has a faster teleport and slower net. I'd appreciate if you could be specific as posisble with any other differences you know :)
Try any of his really high combos that involve double-net resets. =) You can do the 60% bnb combo with human form, but anything higher is really difficult.

Simple question. Is it ever better to end a combo in saw vs ragdoll? Like to have more time to setup bombs, etc?

Example: the 60% BnB can be ended in 121~ragdoll or 21~saw. The saw is 5% less damage but seems to give you more time to put bombs out. I was watching some of Mustards vids and noticed he ended several in saw.

Ragdoll with throw leaves you at neutral (3/4 screen) and is the most damaging

Saw leaves you with advantage (at mid bomb range) Try this ender for bnb after b2: 2,1, dash, 3,3~saw

Ragdoll without throw leaves you with advantage and switches sides (at mid bomb range)

The least useful is the first.
