Match-up Discussion LBSH Cyrax is Broken Mu Chart

I wish I played better Rax players =C

It's hard for me to take that she has such a disadvantage but I guess I haven't been playing the right Rax players.

dnt yall let denzell try to troll yall lol, liu kang beats rax 6-4, could be 7-3 bcuz i win vs rax's regularly, but sense he has bs dmg and great offenseive and defensive tools, i'll leave it at 6-4. Also cage is 6-4, he's trolling with that one lol.

ShadowBeatz if Reptile EX slides through net, the second hit will not land, and Reptile is open for punishment. Reptile has to be extremely careful with his zoning, because getting a forceball out and not getting the trade will = no breaker or gg. But if played well enough, Reptile can trade with Cyrax and Cyrax doesn't get the opportunity to combo.

Vampire Jesus....he wants YOUR blood now!!
as for KL i belive KL just has to play more patiently and plan his teleports carefully. Depending on what you do, cyrax won't always be able to react in time to your teleports.

The second hit of the slide whiffs everytime? Huh.... you sure? I played Temjiin yesterday and I he was sliding through my nets like he was on a playground. I normally laugh at him when the second hit whiffs, but I can't remember if it did everytime or not.

But like I said, it's still in Cyrax's favor. You can say "he has to be careful" but that can be said about anyone. Noob has to be careful as well with his shadows but that doesn't mean that match-up number should be better or worse. The trades work out in Reptile's favor because nets themselves don't do any damage where forceball does.

Just how I how I see it.

Hmmmmm.... I like it. This chart is actually reasonable. I thought that about the cage matchup but its hard enough getting cyrax players to admit they win let alone admit it is a 7 3 HGTV DrFlash44. I do think sonya may still beat cyrax, but it is very close to even (I haven't read through the thread so idk if there was any discussion on this yet)

Is the Cyrax Jax Mu really 5-5? I only just found out that F4 1 hits rax, and I know jax has a descent zoning game. Never really explored the MU

yes there are 9-1 mus like sub vs kenshi. can you tell me what sub can do to win that match besides make godlike reads. yes cyrax destroys a lot of the cast. yeah i know 7-3. but people get confused by a good player making a bad mu look good. he's broken and rain vs rax is 7-3
Wasn't talking about Sub.

Also, I'm really tired of people saying, "This player makes it look like its 5-5, but its actually 7-3."

I'm sorry, but that doesn't make any sense. My match-up chart is an idea of what the match would look like at the highest level possible. In a way, with the mentality that matches are lower than they look, it would mean every single match-up chart is wrong because you are looking at it from a mediocre perspective.

If player (X) makes a match look 5-5, but is the only one able to do this. Then people need to level up, because there is no such thing as a one and only godly player who goes beyond what a reality match is supposed to be. It makes no sense.

Sorry, Denzell. You know I got mad respect for you, but this is a character I spend a lot of time testing, writing guides and helping people out with. I'm passionate about my character, and you know more than anyone that I admit to him being broken, and you have even seen and agreed with my chart. Its as accurate as it can get in a high level match.

I don't understand why this community isn't satisfied with a rational chart, rather they either want Cyrax to have 18 bad match-ups(Maxter Style) or all 10-0's. Lets snap back into reality.

Hit me up with a PM if you want to collaborate on some video guide for each character, Denzell. And see you at SCR dawgy.

Ahhem. . . I just have played Denzel's cyrax. And i'd also suggest that none of the Cyrax players you have fought are on the level of Denzel's (Hey, i can do it to :p )

Anyway you guys are missing a key factor here, This chart has a different view of what a 6-4 and 7-3 are. Every MU that would usually be called a Bad but manageable 4-6 is being put as 3-7, which is basically just rounding up from .5s.

You can't tell me that the Disadvantage in this MU will only effect ONE GAME in a set of 10, I know 3-7 seems like much but its not that unreasonable if you think about it
Its unreasonable at the highest level.

it doesn't matter you're forgetting me and my bro play about the whole cast at decent lvl or higher. I do know Baraka and I guarantee I will win most of the matches if I play any baraka with rax its bad for raka. Rax just outclasses this tarakatan fully. Come visit us in vegas and play baraka I'll change your mind about that match so quickly.
Most good players play the whole cast at a decent level. But that dont mean they're good enough to represent them to their full potential.

I make 8-2 look like 5-5.

Hmmmmm.... I like it. This chart is actually reasonable. I thought that about the Kenshi matchup but its hard enough getting Kenshi players to admit they tie let alone admit it's a 5 5 HGTV Soapboxfan . I do think quan may lose to cyrax, but it is not very close to even (I haven't read through the thread so idk if there was any discussion on this yet)

Illmatix

Remember, representing ermac is illmatic.
Also I feel like Ermac gives him considerably more trouble than you listed.

Sindel I feel is 6-4 because at the very least she wins fullscreen.
yea this is my favorite matchup ever with ermac lol i cant see it being 7-3, maybe 6-4 because of command grab.
as for zoning, if you just walk toward cyrax you can EASILY block all nets and avoid all bombs. and remember, ermac doesnt have to get in to be respected, just be in tkp range. once in tkp range you can really outfootsie the net with djk combos. and you can say, "oh 1 mistake and you're done"
and 1 can say ditto. plus i forgot, ermac can punish bombs and nets if he jumps toward him at fullscreen and teleports. one could say cyrax MUST respect ermac's jump full screen.
