Things have changed. My sister is now coming and staying at my condo in Birmingham and spending the night. My trip to NEC relied on secrecy from my family . Despite using my own money and time for the trip I run the risk of having my parents cut my funding I use for gasoline if they find out I abandoned my college work to go play Mortal Kombat.
I really, really wanted to go and I am sorry, but I have to make the responsible decision. By staying in Birmingham and entertain my sister and study for finals.

Now Jax is an obvious answer, but I'm going to say Sektor. You already have mad spacing and general knowledge of the game you can make him shine. You will get in with those long reaching normals and punish people with those T-Rex arms. Not to mention you will be psychic with the instant air teleport you already are with the straight ball.

Luis Kang. His footsies are similar to kano but much better (b312). He has great corner carry, better projectiles, AA can be standing 2 (8 frames) and comboable. Plus iaf.

him or sektor. Your footsies are very good with kano and thats why I think Kang or sektor are your best options.

i remember Liu and Scorpion from when i was first really getting into the game and learning characters. we'll let em rock at BnB and see how it goes. i'll run Liu/Scorpion/Kenshi :p and then after BnB i'll start to really look at Sektor. thanks for input fellas

I really think you should pick up Reptile or Cage. They both have amazing tools to work with. You already have a great pressure game with Kano, so once you pick up Cage a little bit, you will realize you can easily keep the pressure going with Cage, much easier than you can with Kano. I say we have an ATL Level Up session soon and we discuss new mains.

Also, you guys probably realize that I have not been around TYM lately. I took a little bit of a break from PS3 for a little bit, but am now back in action and ready to play. Seriously we NEED an ATL Level Up!

Calling out to all MK players in the south (Al,FL,TN,Sc) close I prefer due to traveling. Our ATL scene continues to thrive and become stronger through methods of our locals or our players.Now we need to obtain a attendance of 17 or more for our local Battle and Brew tourneys if we can't most likely there wont be any more. I know due to traveling gas expenses including the day and time might be a problem for most players. I'm asking preferably that if you can make it out on a Thursday night to a local $5 tourney to play with us and lvl up,drink or just have fun The ATL scene would trully appreciate it . I hate for us to lose one of our local tournament venues well more consistent one at least ill post time and day below:

Also may I add Congrats to Treypound for taking 1st at last nights BNB Viper coming in 2nd and me (Cyusstrike) coming in 3rd. We had 7 attendees and that was fine it was
still a pretty tough tourney, but it was still very fun. I commend those who did come out even tho it is this time of the year. S/O to Reno Rax , Treypound, Tylerlantern,Viper,Jimmy Vonvitti,Lord of the Fly but I know for sure our scene is bigger and 15 is usually a number we have we can past 17 so come on out people and keep MK alive in ATL

Other than eds i havent seen anything that looks promising. Gamers xperience would be perfect if it wasnt in lithonia. Ill have a look around to see if i can find anything.
