He fit the role for the 1995 version, but for a new Mortal Kombat movie I'd like to see them start fresh and make more of an effort. The original Mortal Kombat, as much as I still enjoy it, looks more like a music video, or straight to DVD movie, than it does an actual movie.

A little less Uwe Boll and a little more Paul Verhoeven, please.

Interesting, Linden Ashby also said a particular someone(s) were problematic when it came from the transition to MK Annihilation.

Life's a bitch...I hope the MK Legacy franchise doesn't have to deal with those problems either.

Get over here!
Man that first mk movie really was a fun movie, I know its cheesy and whatnot but it met my expectations at the time of what an mk movie should be and this Guy's portrayal of Shang was a huge part of that. The movie had pretty solid casting all around IMO.

How kould you mention Uwe Boll and the first MK movie in the same sentence? (You just made me do it lol)

His movies where horrible. The first MK movie is a klassic. Best video game movie to date.

All the best,

I thought Silent Hill was an awesome movie myself. And the Tomb Raider movies also had proper entertainment value.
Having said that the first MK movie also has a special place in my heart. Nostalgic value I guess, and I think it did manage to catch some the MK atmosphere pretty well.

I liked the first Silent Hill movie. Second one was horrendous.
Tomb Raider I though was alright.

All the best,

Ah there is a second Silent Hill movie? I did not know that. Thanks for the heads up, though, if I ever come across it I'll know not to expect much.
Its kalled Silent Hill Redemption or something. Honestly its really bad, the 3d effects in the cinema actually make it look as if you are watching it without the 3d glasses which I found odd and irritating. Few odd little homages to the other games which only Hill fans would know. Still shite though.
Stick with the original..... much like the MK movies lol

The breathing technique works. He's given me a few lessons over the phone. Had me sit in very strange positions to locate where the pain is in my body, then had me hold that position while i practiced the breathing. You feel this energy surrounding the pain. His methods work. Although unconventional, his obsession with detail will even have you breathing through your teeth, yes you heard that right.

He is a deep man, with infinite amounts of energy (same thing he told me). He recognizes good positive energy, as all positive people do. Do not pass up the opporunity to train with Hiro. I have been dealing with hives due to stress over the last 3 months, and his breathing techniques have allowed me to stay calm and patient. Looking forward to my next session with him.

Great man.

Fujin and Ermac for MK 11
I definitely don't see the first MK movie as a DVD movie to the guy that said that, for the time considering and as I said tons of times now compared to other gaming movies, MK 1 was epic.

I agree, honestly especially in the world of video game movies especially which are often ruined by hollywood and/or rushed. The first MK movie WAS good, period as was Silent Hill, TR and first RE wasn't bad. The rest though pfftt. I mean First MK movie was 10x better then Tekken, SF and DBZ combined...they were that bad.

Plus, overall I felt the first MK film actually unlike other gaming films overall followed the storyline of the first MK. Unlike say SF where well...lol you get an actor from brussles to play an American part or having Balrog and E.Honda as news guys(oh yeah Chun Li too lol) That still cracks me up to this day.
