It's not under one umbrella. Saying it's under one umbrella makes you sound ignorant, which you clearly are about MMA. So why even try to pose an argument about MMA to someone who has watched it for nearly 10 years? the UFC has been blowing up in the past couple years dude. they still have huge numbers with PPV and have expanded a lot to network tv like Fox (as they did tonight)

The media has a big influence on public opinion. I know people who have never seen Jordan play a game of basketball, yet they'll argue to their grave that he's the GOAT. Now apply that to the Pacquiao/Bradley decision. The fight was being commentated with extreme bias on a telecast that a majority of the public watched. This was NOT a bad decision, yet it's called one of the worst decisions in recent SPORTS history.
I really like both sports but to say boxing will be dead soon is really dumb.. Promoters wont let it die as theyll just get the next undefeated boxer and hype the shit out of him... Fortunately it works since i love boxing. I mean look at saul canelo alvarez. The hype around his is enormous and believe me he will sell out mexican crowds. The thing is that boxing has very strong ties to nationalities making it very interesting to watch..

115-113 was not a bad decision because the fight reflected those scores for either of the fighter depending on what you saw. It was a bad decision in terms of revenue because Manny is the obvious cash cow. I wouldn't have a problem with Manny winning 115-113, but they said Bradley won 1 round! 117-111? GTFOH
