Assuming you mean number 1 with jax because that is only category I ever put tyrant before CDjr in, well CDjr didn't even go 100 percent jax at NEC, typical. Lets get this straight CDjr is not a character specialist, and beside season beatings 2011 right after all jax buffes rolled out (Btw that SB top 8 was just vsm + m2dave). CDjr hasn't won a big tournament going 100 percent Jax and he never will again. Tyrant resume speaks for its self he has accomplished the most with that character threw out mk9 life span even before Jaxs buffs.

Wait pause. NEC had harder comp than Anaheim and Dallas?

Anaheim had PerfectLegend, Dizzy, Detroit, Pig, and Shory. Not to mention Woundcowboy and pboard, Cat, Xblades, and a host of other people.
Dallas had Pig, Dizzy, CD, Cat, Wound, PerfectLegend, etc. etc.

Lets be serious here. NEC was a heavy, heavy tournament, but Anaheim and Dallas were practically unbelievable.

I didn't make myself clear I was referring to Nec in relation with Dallas were MIT made top 8 not Anaheim, and I don't see why a person can't make the case that NEC comp was equal or harder than dallas.

Okay, Tom, riu, death, and especially sonicfox are playing light years ahead of PL, Madzin, and gross right now. Blake good player but I am sorry flopped at dallas. That just leaves with the WC who tyrant competes with all the time, and Pig/CDsr/Dizzy. I still feel Tyrant placing at NEC is = the same amount of props if he got top 8 at dallas.

The character you use should have some consequence on this list. For example, since I play Kabal who gives a shit if I do well or win a tournament because it's Kabal. I don't think I should be top ten players because when I don't use Kabal I don't get results, thus I'm not consistent and I'm more character than player ability. Players who place by using low tiers like SonicFox and Tom Brady should gain extra stock and respect because it shows true skill more than the top characters. Just my two cents.

Why did tyrant not make top 8 at dallas but did nec?

You got to remember his character actually has real 7-3s, and not fake bad MU like lao vs kenshi(ask porkchop how to play that MU), or rep vs kenshi. Tyrant fought literally all Cages, and sonyas (Showtime, Dizzy, and blake). It sucks but it happens tyrant not a super human when that Bad MU comes for him he has deal with it like anyone else.

I am speaking on tyrant prop points for NEC specifically, and I just don't see how adding more WC players would make tyrant placing worth more prop points seeing how he plays MIT, DJT, and DAB all the time. I do agree Dizzy, and Pig do matter, but come on that's just two players. Nec had over 100 people, so they missed Pig/Dizzy, thats 2 people. Nec = Dallas in terms of comp is lowest I can go here.

I didn't ignore Texas, showtime was at NEC. I am just not going to pretend that Scar, and CAT placed extraordinary well at dallas, they got what top 16 which I think Tyrant got too. Mit and and DJT are that difficult of comp to make Dallas way much harder tournament than NEC, than every local tyrant placed higher then them I want to be counted as tournament win.

While I do agree with this, the general idea of being a top player is based on results, and if you want great results, then you're better off using the best character in the game than if you were to use a character like Sheeva.
