Lmao you said it yourself: I am in a NEED TO PLACE situation this weekend. Being that I did terrible at Raleigh, and didnt place top 16 at Dallas, I AM washed up. I havent placed top 8 since CEO 2012 in June.
As for low tier hero, I used KL at Dallas and still got my back blown out. I am no fisherman; I am just a realist

I wouldn't call M2Dave a fisherman. He never really downplays Freddy to fish for sympathy. His ranting about Smoke is more genuine annoyance with the character rather than trying to downplay Freddy. He never makes "woe is me" threads or anything like that. He will yell at other Freddy players and insist on being the best Freddy but that's mostly for the sake of argument rather than trying to get people to side with him for props. Dave does name drop his Evo top 8 status a lot but it's usually to stick it to other Freddy players or pump himself up. That's props demanding, which is different than props fishing.

MIT also isn't a fisherman. He is a shit talker and a props demander. Big difference.

I'd like to hear your theorems on the effect of an evolving metagame and its effect on the psychology of forming a tier list.
