I'm fine with no Rain/Freddy. I've been toying with the idea of playing Freddy at one of the tournaments this weekend, but I probably won't actually do it; it's looking like he'll be banned for Summer Jam, and I'd rather practice with the character I'm going to play at Summer Jam, you know?
Yea I don't think I'll be playing skarlet at framingham either. I put in a lot of work but the matchups are too inconsistent and tournament nerves will make me drop the the dagger cancels, I know it.
Skarlet is probably going to be banned too. Her backwards throw...unreal projectiles etc. But yeah Freddy is DEFINITELY going to be banned. I'm going to try and make it up to PWA tomorrow I have the night off. Probably a good idea we meet before we stay together at SJ huh? lol

Well there's definitely going to be a setup with the game, blueNINE is bringing one. So it's just a matter of whether or not we get enough people to run the tournament.
I'm leaving straight from work, so I'll get there around, man I don't know, 6:30? It is ostensibly a one hour drive, but with rush hour traffic probably a bit more.

Just a reminder that these are things that are happening tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, respectively. I unfortunately can't make the Connecticut tournament, but I hope to see everybody at GU! Also casuals at GU tonight, I will be there, if you are also there let's play some Mortal Kombat!
GU only got 6 people which was kind of a disappointment, but the people who did show up got some good video games in. I don't really feel great about how I played in that tournament but whatever. The Gaming Etc tournament (which it turns out I was able to make after all) got 13 people, which is a more reasonable showing. I hadn't been there before, it's a nice venue, they had all the amenities I've come to expect, and people were getting pretty hype during some of the matches which is always good to see. Good times. Looking forward to the next one.
