I just called and found out that they close at 10. I'd like to come out guys. But that's a long ride for a few hours of playing. I'll be at the tournament next week.

Its wise observations like these that keep me away from SRK. "sure...gather people for mk, but btw you all suck"

I was about to RSVP when I noticed its going to be on xbox and bring-your-own-controller. I'm not a super win-or-die tryhard or anything, but I wont even last a round on xbox haha

CRKFIEND has a doohickey that lets you play on 360 using a PS2 controller, and I'm planning on buying one as soon as I can remember to do so. If I'm not in a match you can borrow mine, and I'm sure CRKFIEND would say the same thing.

I appreciate it, but theres not going to be many of us so its bound to happen eventually. Most of us play it on PS3 yea? Its just so much less hassle, and no worry about being patched or anything. Theres going to be ps3's there from what I saw, the only thing stopping them from running it on ps3 seems to be the fact that they've made an arbitrary rule about running it on xboxs, which really is only coming from the fact that people will be playing SSIV mostly, and have xbox sticks.

In all likelyhood there's only going to be one setup, so there will only be one match going on at a time, meaning one of the good controllers will be available at all times (unless CRKFIEND and I are playing each other, of course, but if that's the case it doesn't affect you either way).

yea haha true I guess I figured there'd be multiple setups. Still it seems like its more of a hassle than it needs to be. With the attitude people put off about mk I wouldn't be surprised if it was never patched unless we make sure of it. I wouldn't make this big of a deal out of it if it was a bigger tournament, but playing on xbox "just because ssfIV" seems really silly....

I'll be at PWA with my own setup tomorrow. PS3, has everything unlocked and has all the DLC. I will not be denied from MK this time, even if it's just me playing against the computer all night.

Theres this place called Level up here in Manchester NH that holds fight nights mostly for MVC3 and SF, If i can get people to go ill bring my own set up and see if theyll do MK too :)

my boss didnt give me the day off on the 6th.... so looks like im out for the torny I really wanted to come down too. Sanity thats crazy your from manchester I live in Dover. Wonder why our games got so lagged up today we don't live far apart at all. look forward to playing against ya more in the future and hopefully offline at some point.

Depredation is out because he can't get the day off work. I'm assuming MaskOfSanity is in but I guess that depends on if he can get a ride. kona probably isn't in because he isn't in for anything ever, the big jerk!!!!! I don't know if tito887 is in or not.

I'm heading to GU tonight; there's some people there who play MK there but don't read TYM or SRK, so they may not know there's a tournament. Also I might be able to twist LuckyD's arm about entering just so that we can have the headcount (he quit the game after they removed Cyrax's bomb trap; I keep telling him Cyrax is still good and he's just like "yeah but effo").

edit: Oh, I forgot. noobtron should be there too. I don't know if he's entering though. He played MK at Evo but didn't enter in the local tournament at the Souper Bowl, so who knows.
