Just to clarify a few more things so people understand how this will be run, registration should be from Noon to 1PM, or 1PM to 2PM at the latest. When we get the complete list of registered players, we will make an announcement for people to be in the room as we announce the list. We will then make the pools and brackets for the first couple pools to be run, then start the pools and finish the brackets. The tournament should start no later than 3PM as long as we get the list by 2:30.
Late entrants can still be allowed, and dropped into pools accordingly. If there are, for example, 8 pools, with 13 in one, and 12 in the rest, and two pools have started, we have 6 pools to add players to without interfering with the first, but once the first round of the first two pools are done, we really cannot take any more late sign ups.
As for streamed match priority. The first round of winners will have select matches streamed, and the rest of the matches will start in unison on pool setups with no discrimination. The second round of winners is when we start holding off matches specifically to be streamed because of the first round of losers taking up the pool stations, match flow will continue for each pool. The entire first round of losers typically will not be streamed unless there is some special instance where it will make the stream more entertaining. Winners bracket matches from here on will be streamed until we reach the bottle neck for matches, and the remainder of matches will be streamed per pool, which will include some losers bracket matches.
I know a lot of tournaments including our own have done 3/5s in final scenario sets for pools, but for NEC the pools will be run 2/3 the whole way through because the pool winners/losers finals are not really finals matches. This especially applies if top 16 does become 3/5 because in that situation, top 32 would then be 3/5 too and that's not happening.
