Breakthrough I might have a way to figure out Cyrax Toasty Boost!

You love that pic.
In story mode there's a scene where Scorpion appears and says: "What is this? You are not Sub-Zero". Sub-Zero: "I'm his family and clan" and so on. But some guy on youtube edited a variation. In his version Scorpion appears and says: "What is this? You are not Sub-Zero" and disappears back and Sub-Zero doesn't get to say a word. Since then I make fun of Scorpion like this.

Now someone test if 2nd player can get toasty boost as well while he got hit. Or what happens when both input toasty boost at the same. And if it can be done while holding block is important
Yes, you can get the toasty boost if you were the one being hit. IT IS A RACE TO DO THE INPUT JUST LIKE HARA-KIRI/FATALITY in MKD.

Is it 100% confirmed that only 1 player can get a toasty boost though? Is it possible that if you both enter in the input in time you both will get a boost?

This one's for you

Do you know if it can be done while blocking or while being combo'd? (Like during Kabal's b121)

I doubt that both players can get it, but it is not known.

I do not know, but I'm sure you can hold block.

I found a consistent way to search for Kenshi's toasty boost. It's another one of my crazy theorys, but if you remember my last crazy theory, it ended up being the pattern for most of the cast, so hear me out.

-It seems Kenshi has a harder time getting Toasty! to pop out vs certain characters, especially in mirrors

-As well, it seems the stage that Kenshi does it on either works, or doesn't.

With that said...

I have found a consistent way to make Toasty! pop out for Kenshi every 15-20 minutes. Here is how i've been doing it for the past hour

-Pick Courtyard Day
-Select Sheeva as your opponent
-Wait for the first Toasty! to appear, attempt your Toasty Boost...
-Leave the game on, try some combos with him for a good 15-20 minutes... try to take small breaks in between those 15-20 minutes and do a quick attempt on the first combo on the first round.

Either you will land it on that first combo, or you wont. It has worked consistently for me for the last hour. I have plenty of inputs to post for Kenshi. I will keep trying until this pattern is gone...

But maybe it will also work for you. I have also done it on the Belltower, but that was last week and not using my theory above.

Hope this leads you down the right path. I will post my findings in the next hour or so.

EDIT - Just landed it again, in 15 minutes. This definitely works. That is 4 times in a row now. I will test a few more times. Running out of inputs....

To follow on the last post (while i have a minute, i have dan forden paused on the screen right now, but read on)

I accidently left my session and lost the pattern. Couldn't get it back, so i resetted once or twice. Got him fast... Like 5 minutes in... Waited another 7 minutes (maybe 6? 11:47-11:54) unpaused my game and tried it again, and it worked. Thats what i have paused right now. I am predicting another toasty in 5 minutes from unpausing the game.

It's once you are able to catch Dan Forden, he gets in a rhythm. If you catch him in 25 minutes, he comes back in 25. It's all about when he comes out the first time. Again, this is for Kenshi only. I have never noticed this pattern before for any other character.

ALL I HAVE IS THE GREEN.
This is the current chart but it won't help us too much until we find the next input... FFD not looking like it's an input. Also, DDB hasn't been tested as much but it isn't looking good. Could be stuff like FFU or UUB. See Konqrr 's chart for other inputs people have tried.

Thanks Rip Torn. I will try all these damn inputs lol.

Is more like in mk2 to play against smoke in a versus match. when you get the toasty in the portal stage the first one pressing D+Start will play against him :)
