If MK10 is an Amazing Game, Would You Do It All Again?

The only reason I'm still playing mk9 is to still have a community and friends for Injustice and Mk10. I'd be stuck playing ladder all day if this wasn't here. I'll be motivated 100% since there will be people to go over shit with starting out. That is something I never had starting out in mk9.

I'm probably in the minority when I say this, but I want ninjas gone entirely. I mean half the roster has their face covered up, whether male, female or robot. Come on NRS, give us something new.

Im excited to see where they take the next one story wise, I remember back in the day that was the funnest part of the next game.

Played them all, and will kontinue to play them until arthritis takes my options away, hopefully by then there will be no controllers and I can just think all the shit I wanna do,

I think the big question is, what are the controllers on the new systems gonna be like, because it's pretty obvious MK10 will come out on next gen, it took me a year and a bit to find a controller I like to play with competitively,

I think its best if the female's keep those masks on. In fact, I vote we give Sonya and Sindel a mask.

Mk10?, expect completely new characters to rise from the dust since most of the squad was killed by sindel, neather realm did this because it was time 4 change, im happy and anxious to see what new fighters, fighting styles, and abilities will be brought to the table, i expect to see revamped old characters return from the 3d times of deception, DA, and games like those, liu kang is not dead just badly burned, i expect him to become evil once 10 rolls around with a deep hatred 4 raiden, perhaps joining the sides of the likes of shinnok n others?, who knows, but the mk will definately be a great follow up... Im pretty sure stage transitions will be making an appearance in the sequel as well, tho not as cinematic and over the top as injustice, im glad NRS is keeping us busy with injustice while we wait 4 mk10 im pretty sure it will be next, as much as i dont like some of the stuff in injustice i will be playing it simply because of this community, e sports, and my KH crew :)

Play it? Absolutely. Get involved to the degree I am now? Probably not.

Don't get me wrong, I've met the nicest, funniest people and been to beautiful places all over the Western Hemisphere because of this game. I love it. I love the community - even if it hasn't always loved me back.

But it's also taken a lot out of me. Time and energy and money. It's even taken a genuine emotional toll on me on occasion. I don't think I have it in me to do it all again - to this extent.

I'll always be involved with the community. I'll keep playing as long as they keep coming. But traveling for tourneys will not be as frequent. Cosplaying will probably stop.... Ok, I don't even believe myself there lol. But most of my costumes are custom made - so it takes more time, aggravation and $$ than you might think to put together.

Tl;dr - Yes I'll play, but in moderation. And my offline shenanigans will be considerably less frequent.

Having played Jade since the very beginning of the game, it went like this for me:
- Hopeful that my character will be solid. (First 2 months)
- Doubtful and asking questions. (Month 3 to 5)
- Stirring up shit to get top players to pick her up (Month 6 to 12)
- Realizing that NRS simply neglected the character as for some reason they do not want game balance. (Month 12 on)

The end product is that from here, where I am sitting, NRS looks like a company with a poor-ass development policy and I'm not buying anything from them in the foreseeable future, and making it a point to let every-one know how they have no idea what they are doing.

depending on school/work i probably won't have anything close to the amount of time i do now to play mk, maybe not even injustice, so i'll probably be garbage at the games.

but i'll be here til the end, comrades. unless MK10 is 3D. fuck that shit.
