Good Anime

Easy all,

Was wondering if any of you of some really good Japanese anime that's either really fucked up, or just really original. Last one I watched was Social Experiment Lain, which was a real mind fuck.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I have almost 0 knowledge of this. Right now I'm watching Moribito: Guardian of the Sacred Spirit, but I have no idea if it's actually good.

Depends on what anime your into. I myself like romance, and slice of life. Mainly romance, if any action has romance, chances are I'd watch it.

Good romance, none of that Twilight stuff. Something like Toradora, which is obviously best anime.

No I haven't seen Experiment Lain.

Just a little bit of advice, if an anime is longer than like 35 episodes it's usually not worth watching. Best animes I've seen are usually 12-24 epis. Animes tell a short and solid story, they shouldn't go on and on.

Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood
Hellsing
Vampire Hunter D
Devil May Cry
Full Metal Panic
Samurai Champloo
Cowboy Bebop
Rurouni Kenshin
Berserk
Neon Genesis evangelion
Gundam Wing/Seed

That should keep you busy for awhile. They were in no particular order, but my favorite is Berserk. If you want me to describe them just PM me.

I've come to realize this. Surprising. Social Experiment Lain is only 13, and probably was the best one.

shiguriu is my favorite of all time. I really did like kure-nai idk it has some action but it has a lot of emotion in it. I haven't watched anime in 3 years so I can't remember many.

Cool, and if you enjoy the anime(which you should) it's a nice segway to the manga. The manga is where it really gets good.
The only manga i currently read are: Bleach, Naruto and Berserk.

I can't give a list of recommendations, as I generally only watch mainstream anime that airs in Cartoon Network. Shonen ftw...and Sailor Moon....and Tenchi Muyo! <3

Elfen Lied was pretty good. Gantz is also pretty good (in a fucked up kinda way) besides the horrible filler conclusion. Dream Eater Merry was entertaining in a cliche sort of way. Chobits was cute. Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya was entertaining. Hokuto No Ken is sexy and manly.

Contradicted myself. Meh.

There was some anime I liked about these select people in a game with like the richest doctor or something and they were given a power to react to some kind of situation??? They used cell phones.
