What's the point and not allowed are two different things. Madzin entered thinking he was ALLOWED to play, even if him winning would be "pointless." i think he was under the same impression as me that the original rules said you could designate someone to go in your place if you couldnt make it (because even some american guys cant make it even if they win, believe it or not), so he just wanted to play the game.
yea i wudnt be able to make it either. i wudve sponsored someone. I just hope madzin wins again and see if he sponsors someone or keeps the money

He's announced that he's not going to play again because he got too many complaints like "why's a german guy playing, he shouldnt be in here," and so on.

I want to play this guy in a set just because I want to see how he fares against my Raiden. Good Noob players are few and far between.

I personally didn't care that he played, I think people assumed though that since PSN is region locked that it would be USA only, and really the only problem is that he's in Germany, which would lag more for people in the US / CAN.

There wasn't any rules that said he couldn't enter because he was German, so imo its fine with me.

Personally, I wish he hadn't, but thats because I'm not an online player, so having to deal with lag is something I'm not used to. I did my best to get through it, and then just gave up after I got to Madzin. To be quite honest, there is no disrespect on my side. Like I said, I think the guy is not bad, but because of the conditions of the match, it was pointless. I played it because I was a good sport, otherwise I would have just said, "advance him."

I would love to play Madzin sometime. I just wont do it online, and I think I have a great reason for that too.

I wouldn't be mad if players in Germany didn't want to play me in an online tournament where they have to pay $10 to enter or money is on the line.

Whatever the case, I respect all MK players. I just don't respect the netcode.

In terms of lag.

West Coast ------------- East Coast ------------------------------Germany

I'm positive my ^ keyboard drawing here is not 100% accurate, but you get the point. :D

Out of the two people I played in the tournament, his was the best. That's not saying much but from what I could tell it was pretty good

Yes, that was my point. I had a match with bad lag too, and I believe he was in the US. But my two other opponents and I had a really good connection and lag was minimal.

Not saying he was bad, just that he probably would be the laggiest connection.

Not well, if you have a good Raiden. I stomped him dirty with mine. But when he gets you in a corner, and in a lag that's at least a 2 second delay, getting out is damn near impossible. His Noob was incredibly beast mode, but in the end, it was Noob. His real talent comes from his foundation skills. He can anti-air like a god in the laggiest of conditions, his reads are almost never wrong, and his mobility is pretty damn impressive as well. 3 key qualities you generally never see in Saibots.
