The Van Crew Nit, Phil, Simon, Joe, and Voy, on the longest road trip I've ever taken, couldn't have been more comfortable. It was definitely a good time and lots of rest stops.

9.95 for running the majority of the brackets and keeping his cool and not giving up.

Voytek for doing a lot of video taping and driving on the way back. The big man is always a big help. 2 Meters of Terror.

Lucky Day for gettin' it done, and wiring up those pads to make the tournament as accessible as possible. Without that, it wouldn't have been nearly as good.

Team Spooky for putting up with our ghetto setup and working with us until it got done. Again, very sorry about pushing back any time frame but I know you guys wanted to get UMK3 up there and we appreciate that. Anything involving me and technology is bound to have unforeseen errors.

Tom Brady for always being a character and making everyone laugh with his endless stories of bitter hatred.

Fugee and Chris for inviting us out there and supplying competition and all the necessary components for running a fantastic UMK3 tournament.

Tim Static for being the man and supporting the scene like it's nobody's business. Hope to see you again in December.

Konqrr for just being there, it's been way overdue man and I hope we can work something out again in the future.

Moe and Thrower for being so proficient at this game. There are few players I feel I can still really learn from and you are two of them. My tournament set with Thrower was one of the most intense I've had in quite some time and I had a blast getting some casuals with Moe, along with our random set that came pretty close. Can't wait to get those vids up.

McLovins, I feel you were the best talent from Ohio and I really enjoyed meeting you. I think you should spearhead the tournament scene for UMK3 there and work it up, you could definitely take control. You have a ton of potential and I want to hear more from you in the future.

LaoShu it was great to finally meet you as well. We definitely had a blast and brought back a lot of memories playing on Kaillera, just without the internet in the way. We'll definitely meet again.

BlueIX, VDO, Snake, and any of the other regular tournament goers I see just about anywhere I go and support the scene. We need you guys. Always appreciated.

The rest of the Ohio guys, it was very nice meeting all of you and I hope you guys keep things going. UMK3 is going to see a lot of attention, especially if HD is what we think it is.

The live steam on Sunday was amazing! The blue screen of death that happened way too much. I'm still beating myself up that I didn't come to this, but there will be more chances in the feature. Anyways, good stuff everyone.

ps. What are you guys usually playing UMK3 online wise?

We had significant camera issues because the digital camera we tried capturing with wouldn't stay on when the video out was plugged in for some reason, and the analog camera would shut off when it wasn't recording so we had someone watching it at all times.

As far as online goes, there's a section on here with a lot of players listed, but I really don't play online anymore.

First and foremost to REO, for doing some major work at SB and taking the Title. Congrats bro, you earned it, you deserve it and nobody can take that from you.

Shock - for keeping me level headed when I was ready to give up on Saturday night. I had a very difficult time with the sticks and buttons on the cab and was ready to just forfeit my match and run the bracket... there's a reason why you're one of my closest friends bro... thanks again.

Shock's Grandparents - for letting us use the van to get to SB... we need a magnetic adhesive now for the side "UMK3 Bus"

Summoning - Another one of my closest friends and the guy who reminded me that it's only a game on saturday night... Also for providing the awesome 3G internet service on the ride home...that was awesome

AC1984 - Yet ANOTHER of my closest friends(I think I'm developing a pattern here, LOL) who helped make this such an enjoyable trip. I think you put down more food on the trip than even me! LOL

Voytek - We'll get you playing one day, and if not, at least at a SC4 tourney so you can play instead of just driving. Thanks for the support for all of us though, you were and are and integral part of this.

Dark Rob - We missed you there bro...wasn't the same without you around. You're yet ANOTHER of my closest friends and we were empty w/o you there. You were, however, the UMK, CMK, and TYM official "breaking news" reporter with match and outcome updates keeping the community up to date on how the tournament was going.

Tim Static - Yup...another of my closest friends...and this man has managed to do that from 500+ miles away. Thanks for supplying the cab(we will discuss sticks and buttons in the future...LOL) and for the shirt and keychain. Raising Cain's was good stuff. Pictures of you sleeping in the room during casuals...even better...LOL. Great commentary, great support of UMK3 and it's scene...keep at it...SB6 soon enough where UMK3 will be even more hype!

Konqrr - great to finally meet you. Didn't play you much on cab, but fun casuals in the room. Definitely too short of a visit for you though. Here's to you coming back soon bro. Hopefully it will work out ... or, you can just move to NY/NJ. LOL

Aldagod - always a pleasure seeing you and playing your Nightwolf. Great job getting to top 8 in the tournament..it was a tough road and you played great. See you at NEC...and yes, we'll play some ST there.

Moe and Thrower - great meeting you guys and playing both of you. I hope we see you both at NEC... we'll have concave buttons there for you and you can sit as close to your opponent as you want! LOL Great stuff, both of you... thanks for being there.

Ghaleon and Fugee - Ghaleon it was great to see you, just wish you were able to play some UMK. Fugee, we didn't get to play UMK3 b/c I hated the feel of the sticks and buttons on the cab so I didn't play when you did, but I hope to see both of you at NEC. Great Job running SB...it was an amazing event, an amazing experience and overall alot of fun. I will see you guys next year.

Lucky Day - It was a pleasure and an honor to meet you bro. We are definitely cut from the same cloth. Great job wiring the pads up to the cab. I think you definitely have a big future in the UMK3 scene and I hope you stick with it because you're going to do nothing but help the scene grow. I'm Glad you're one of the good guys...LOL Hope to see you at NEC.

THTB/Azuro - great to finally meet you..but did you REALLY have to bring MKA to the 2d MK room? LOL... seriously though, it was great to meet you, great to play you and I'm looking forward to you getting down to NEC to play more UMK3.

McLovin - Great to meet you bro. Great skills as well. You'll def be hearing from me soon...I hope we get to play more often and I hope to see you at NEC.

First of all I would like to give a huge shout out to Shock, Nit, Fugee, Ghaleon, and anyone else who was responsible for getting me to Season's Beatings this year. THANK YOU!

Tim Static. You are the man! From the minute I get off the plane to the minute I get back on, you were there. Best host I've ever met. Took me to Raising Canes for my secret love, chicken strips. Bought me a smoothy with "bubbles", wtf?! lol, shit was wierd. After the hype train stopped, we went to Hounddogs for pizza. I'm still feeling that food haha...Much love for you man.

Shock, I've known you for years and finally got to meet you this weekend, it was a pleasure. It's a shame that we didn't get to play very many matches together, we will get that long set eventually.

Nit, I've already stolen your Kung Lao tactics man...used them on the Ohio guys after you guys left haha! We will get our MKII matches someday.

Phil, finally got to meet you. You are one of the most "real" people I've ever met. Props. Wish you didn't have such difficulty with the cab setup, you have a really great Human Smoke. Thanks for running the brackets and being on top of everything that went on.

Simon, I hope you are feeling better, you looked pretty green when you went back to the room. It was a pleasure to meet and play you in person.

REO, congrats on winning the tournament. You are so good at every game you play. Watching you set up Moe in the Grand Finals to land a spin after he teleported away was so gdlk. It was nice to finally put a face to the name.

You guys are prepared for everything, it's amazing. No drivers? I got something to get them. Not the right cord? Let me pull out the bag-o-wires, guaranteed it's in there.

Lucky Day for "padding the cab". Thank you for all that you did for the UMK3 scene at SB:R. You are a class act.

Big shout out to Team Spooky for being so patient and helpful in getting UMK3 on the stream.

Moe and Thrower from Chicago. Two guys who haven't played the game in years, and coming to wreck shop for a weekend was an amazing thing to see. I'm so glad to have met and played you guys. Just watching and playing you two has already made me a better player. I took it all in like a sponge.

McLovins, you are pretty damn good at this game man, keep the UMK3 train running in Ohio.

LaoShu, I've played you online a few times, but playing you in person was a awesome. You play so different from everyone else, it took me off guard. Block for 40 seconds, then land a combo with Nightwolf and win! Too good lol

BlueIX, you are such an animated player, I had a blast playing you. Your uSub is getting better every time I see it. Thanks for supporting the scene whenever there is a tournament for it.

THTB, we had a lot of ggs on the cab. Glad to see you like the stick now. Very nice and patient Sonya.

Tony aka JohnnyCakes, got to see you play a few before you bolted. Good stuff. I hope everything is ok man. Last I played you was on the DS forever ago.

Fanatiq, we played 10 or so matches right before Fugee booted you out of the building. It was nice to see the genuine interest you have for the game. I'm just glad that I got to show you some things and play you.

Last shout out is to Fugee and Ghaleon for running the most hype tournament in the world.

I can't wait to see the stream vids as I didn't hear one word of commentary for the top 8. I am on the edge of my seat in anticipation for them. I was kind of bummed that Zaq's computer crashed while attempting to record them because he records the stream chat also. Oh well.

you ARE Season's Beatings, and without you both, mid October's would mean much to anyone. But instead you've given birth to what i think is the single best tournament on the planet!! Nothing is more godlike than being at SB watching not just the best talented players in the area, but in THE WORLD!! Best part its right in my backyard! lol If you guys ever need anything, please let me know!!

Frank aka RoyBisel aka THE FUCKIN' MAN! You all probably have no clue how much effort and work Frank put into this SB, let alone past SB's. Simply put, its because of people like Frank that make such godlike things so godlike. He is a great friend, knows more about SF than anyone I know, and i am honored to call him a friend. I really am. Thanks bro, and as always, if you need ANYTHING, or just wanna stop by and play some UMK3, let me know! :)

MOMOS and staff!! Between the bubbles, the rice bowls, and your tolerance of us turning your venue upside down, what a GREAT fucking job you guys do EVERY SINGLE YEAR!
