UMK3 and MKII at Winter Brawl in Philadelphia, February 27th

As far as I know, dciguy PM'd me on CMK to inform me that he won't be able to make it. I've updated the main post because Dark Rob said he will be in for MK2 as well.

Hey whats up peeps? Put me down for dat mk2 as well. I have been playing it on and off for a while since nec so I wanna see where my skills are at now.

And just in case their is killer instinct there I will practice a little in that as well.

I hate losing to julian and joe every year so its time I step up.

I can still remember that umk3 match at necx with summoning using cyrax vs julian when summoning did a 100% damage combo. Ouch that had to hurt, julian had a wierd look in his eye after that. I think it was fear and I want him to have that when he plays me lol :).

awesome to see you on here bro... I'll put you in for MK2. Looking forward to seeing you again at Winter Brawl. And yes, we're running Killer Instinct again.

On a side note, we're losing SweetJohnnyCage from this one, as he was unable to get off of work for the day.

Yeah, the site is kinda being kept to a minimum right now since it's re-opening, but I will add you to my friends list. Mine is ChiroToB

I made it so registered users can view and edit profiles, no sigs or pics yet. We'll see how things go.

Yes it has. Might return, no one knows yet. However, if you've already DL'd it you can re-DL at anytime.

But this thread is for Winter Brawl next weekend in Philly.

My friend mike who is also from philly said he is coming to winter brawl and will enter umk3. He is a beast in umk3 and I cant wait to see what happens.....

Anyone bringing a camera to record umk3 matches?

Super thanks to everyone who showed up, congrats to Summoning for getting 1st in MKII again, and for AC and Rich for placing in UMK3. Definitely a great showing and an interesting tournament. Good job on Rich getting revenge on Joe, and AC for knocking me into Losers. Unfortunately there was a bit of confusion and Joe iloveu was DQed from Winners Bracket due to being unable to play because of other tournaments demanding he stay. I'll have videos of most of the UMK3 matches and a few from MKII.

Ok…First of all I want to congratulate the winner Shock who showed incredible skills and talent during the whole tournament. Congratulations to Summoning for winning MK2, true master of the game!!! Last but not least congratulations To Rich, awesome competitiveness man!!! Thank you Phil for runing the whole show,great organization.I want to thank Shock, Phil (9.95), Summoning, Rich, DarkRob and the rest of the players for the great time. I give you huge credit and respect for what you do!!!! Keep it that way. I’m looking forward to meet you all again in May.

Simon matches we had were great , your skills are great!!!

it was so much fun to meet and play with all of you guys , may is going to be when we get umk3 on a big projector screen our goal is to get as many as possible to this one

WB was the first real tournament that there was alot of great players so much back and forth wins losses and upsets noone knew what was gonna happen :)

No need to start anything, the weather was extremely bad up here in the form of two back to back snow storms and almost 3 feet of snow in some areas. I would say at least 1 in 5 players didn't show in general, besides Bass' traveling distance is approximately 3 hours and through mountains. It's just not safe. He informed me days ago that he would not be able to make it.

Yeah, Rich won decisively in the third match with Joe but the other two were close. I texted with Joe earlier and we're going to make sure he's got sufficient time to play his matches in the future.
