Test your might at the Buckeye State MK Classic

I am looking to run a UMK3/MK2 (and possibly MK4/G for Bill, haha) here in Columbus at the Columbus Square Bowling Palace ( www.palacelanes.com ) sometime mid to late July.

I already heard from summoning tha he could bring Shock & Phil (9.95), so I am looking for some more interest and who wants and can come (Zaq!)


(BTW, UMK3 is gonna be on either cab or 360 w/ sticks from Ed, and MK2 will be on either cab or PS3 (with hopefully sticks from Ed, lol. I am also gonna try and get my Ultimate MK2 cab up and running by then. As in Rv3.1, Rv.4.2 & Rv9.1, and yes, the Immortal Challenger hacks all in the same cab with a jamma selector ;) )

Also looking for somebody to design a logo for this, because this wont be a one time event. This is Year #1. Any artists looking to help, email me at [email protected] and I will give you the theme I am looking for with he logo.

I'm interested, but can't confirm that I'll be able to be there at this point. It's only a couple hours away for me so it's completely doable.

I'm looking forward to this... I'm glad it's going to be in July instead of August. Once you have a date set, I'll start making plans. I'll also do my part to help out if need be. Let me know.

Then when it is all over, we'll see who can drink with me and not get arrested :)

I told some guy named Johnny Cage about this on xbl yesterday. I gave him the site info and everything. He's average at best at umk3 but said he's won a $600 mk2 tournament before. He lives in Ohio.

I'm not sure. All I know is that for one entire weekend in July I'll be working at a soccer tournament. I'll figure out what weekend that is sometime soon. But I don't expect you to plan this around my schedule anyway.

It is very nice that you all are getting together for a tournament. Sounds like a fun time, but just realize this....



Ohio State sucks.

Oh neat, I just noticed today that the university I attend has a UMK3 machine in the student union. Granted, it's about the most pitiful arcade room I've ever seen. Maybe I'll take a picture, but it's like they crammed 15 machines (including a DDR machine) into a room that's about as large as a prison cell.
