Ggs to hardwire(kangs lookin nice), kr4tos, and one other dude, forgot your name, but you had a killer reptile and sub. Kept missing out on fighting Pmarc and Calijokerstyle. But there is always tomorrow. :D

GGs to everyone (friends and new ones) that I had to play in the TYM room last night. I will edit this and add the names when I get access to my PS3 again. I know I played a nasty cage and mileena. Necrocyte dont get me started on your rep shessh. I feel so proud of myself right now for being able to take 2-3 matches out of 20 lol. It means that I am leveling up my stryker. Hopefully this matchup is helping you leveling up as well in the way you apply pressure/strategy. Same goes for that mileena play i think it was ZeroEffect317 (again sorry I will add the names later).

Yeah ZeroEffect317 was me. GGs. Never played a stryker main before so even though I knew his moves and what they were for, I didn't know how someone would use them.

That one kick after a combo is an interesting reset setup I've never seen. (I think it's standing 3) and his roll toss is annoying in that you can't jump away from it and it has a lot of range. It forced me to rely on sais less, but after a while I figured out I could use a delayed air sai against you; something I've been experimenting with lately. As I told you, if Stryker had a way to escape pressure reliably I don't know that I would've won as much as I did.

Yeah it's standing 3. I use it a lot in combos because I like to pressure with Stryker, but unfortunately he doesn't have the tools to do so :-( I can't apply a decent pressure and to make it worse I don't have the proper tools like you said to get out of pressure. I would say roll toss or EN version but that's currently broken IMO. A lot of moves/normals stuff them. I don't know if you noticed but mileena's D4 stuffed both. And what's up with that D4 anyway? Lol. I feel like I can be across the screen and still get hit by it. The range on that move is ridiculous.

I gotta be honest, I'm clueless and don't normally do well against mileena. So last night was me adjusting to the matchup. Must admit she is a thing of beauty in the right hands. And you definitely have a lot of tricks up your sleeves hehe.

Playing good players like you forces me to explore other stryker's options that I wouldn't normally use. For example, i was experimenting with standing 3 to counter mileena's D4. To my surprise it got me a win but it requires the proper read.

I think Stryker can compete even with his current level against the entire cast. It's just that there is no room for mistake and forces you to be a Jedi in making the proper reads 100% of the time (which I think it's a bad thing). He has to work too hard for a win :-( i know i still have a long way to go in term of skills but still what da hell man lol...that's why for me playing kenshi feels like a breeze and winning feels less rewarding lol

Yeah, I know exactly what you mean. I've played low tiers before. It's hard work and can get frustrating when you see what tools you should have, or wish they had. But it's very rewarding when you can get to the point where you can win with them no matter who your opponent is. (at least enough to win a tourney match against the best, heh.) Fortunately, there's always hope with this game since patches keep coming out.

Does standing 3 give you a safe jump? or just a dash-in mixup? Cause either way you can use the universal mixup of throw vs attack. Throw them enough times and you'll find your opponent looking to keep from blocking, giving you combo opportunities. If you do get a safe jump, even better. Against Mileena D4, there's pretty much no reason not to crouch block at neutral distance. Especially if you think you're out of range of D4. Her overhead has range but not as much. It won't hurt her much if you block it, but it prevents her from starting pressure with it.

Iniquity u got a good Ermac but when Kit sqboosts it should be punished with a TKP. Hopefully you whip out Rep next time, I want the matchup xp.

Sabii ur Smoke is finally adapting to the game of my Kitana. I will try to play you a lil later today. I know I said 40 mins but it mnite be a little longer ie MAYB between 615 and 630. I will msg u either way.

I had so much lag on my side it wasn't even funny. =[ Guru was probably the only person I didn't have significant lag with, but I had major stutter which fucks with my timing ugh.

Me too, Kitana is one of my worst matchups next to Mileena. So it's nice to have a good spar buddy to help me figure the matchup better.

Ggs pmarc, ive been Playing street fighter fir the past two weeks, it was pretty fun, I only got it because Its nearly impossible to play wireless in mk.

I finally got my ethernet cable though. I couldn't land any combos though, hopefully a few more days and ill get all the jittering out of the way

yooo I couldnt find my MK disc the other and decided to kill time by putting in SSF4. I couldnt believe that I couldnt do a decent combo with Cody..i didnt even I didnt even bother dusting off my Guile lol. Coming from the dialing combo in mk and transitioning to SSf4 after not playing for months was the hardest thing I ever had to do by far lol. So I know how that feels. Still tho, you were a PITA to play against smh

GGs to Sabiie. Very good smoke...top notch to say the least. Even though i hate the smoke matchup, i think I could have avoided that ass whooping tonight lol. I was off in the cross jumps and I landed my gunshot after a launcher probably once (which never happens). I definitely want to put some more games in against your smoke. The connection was good...well at least on my end. so we should be all set for next time. again GGs bro
