Dogg, I am in complete agreement with you about standardizing notation. However, in MK, notation for a move like Sub-Zero's Ice ball in MK-MK4 was always D,F,LP... and this is correct notation... while someone might think its actually QCF,LP it's not... you can perform the move by just quickly tapping, down, then forward, then LP, without ever registering the d/f part of the quarter circle.

With that been said, I have a question. Do you find it faster to actually just do the QCF motion as opposed to tapping d,f. I play on a stick and it seemed faster and more fluent to just use QCF instead of d,f. Maybe it's just me or I am use to SF atm but it seems it would be quicker.

I use B,D for Cage's nut punch. Just because it's awkward to do a QC from B to D. I don't even know why NRS made the notation that way. It should just be D,F to do it. -_-

I agree ^ it's just easier, I hate B, D moves lol or F, D, F moves just a pain to get off constantly imo.
