Dang, tag mode looks like the real deal!

having a buddy as the second guy is great but im really lookin at just myself with my team. That will mean always needing to be good with at least 2 characters. i cant even start thinking of all the combinations that could work together. Just some questions that may or may not be alrerady answered.

1. obviously, but im assuming you can play team mode alone right? I know its prob a given but still jic.

2. will we be able to go online alone and play team mode with an online partner? example, me and joe blow across the country vs you either alone or with ur friend right there next to you.

I can help you out here, with the first question yes you can play alone with tag team having two guys vs. someone else or the computer with two guys. However, you can also play with a buddy via tag team and face off against two others on another xbox so you can do 2 on 2 for a total of 4 players online or you can do 4 players offline with 2 friends vs. 2 friends via tag team mode with 4 controllers.

This mode will be boss!

So yes and yes there will also be a mode where you can play with a friend against the computer arcade ladder.

i say not only will it be viable but it could turn into the most popular mode. Seeing as it might have the most room for showing off mad skills and sick looking combos.

@MKF30 thanx, i figured that was the way it would work. ive just been out of the mk loop since umk3 i dont know what the devs hav a reputation for doing lately.

Do you guys think Tag Team will have its own seperate scene at the competitive zone? Tag seems like it has too much potential to be overshadowed by 1v1. Not that I'm against 1v1, of course.

I have a question... because I forget the answer... but when you play Teams online... for a team is it 1 player or do you switch out/have the option switch out with a partner?

Hey sure no prob. MKDC was a good game but lacked that MK feel and vibe, and MK: SM I highly recommend. But yeah, tag seems awesome from what I'm hearing about multiplayer and just in general.
