I've been to Xanadu for Super Smash Brothers tournaments before but not for MK9. I'm interesting in coming down for one tho.

Hello all,

I'm a college student in NW DC who attends xanadu gatherings as much as possible mainly for sf4 but am looking to pick up MK9.


If anyone is in the DC area and is looking to game in MK. pretty much any fighting game as well, shoot me a pm and hopefully we can set up some offline sessions.

Good shit guys. I won't be able to come back down till the beginning of June at the earliest, but when the time comes I'll definitely be giving everyone a heads up. It'd be nice to have my own monitor by then too... lol

Really sorry I couldn't make it last week. My car had the nerve to break down and need some time in the shop on Monday, and well, that was a wrap for trying to get down to Xanadu last week. ^^;

But hey, for the rest of you guys that look to be stopping by, I'll look forward to trying to meet up for some games this Wednesday.

Storms - I don't play at Xanadu, but I happened to catch this browsing. The Asus monitors ARE indeed most awesome, and they're actually quite inexpensive. Honestly, I didn't even realize people used them for consoles until I was looking at my port hooks ups behind the one I am looking at right now to post this. lmao

This the same Jaguar I was playing tonight? If so good games man. You taught me a few new tricks for Cyrax's bomb set up. Your combos are deadly as hell with him.

i might be holding something this weekend. i think we need an MD/VA/DC thread for all the players around dc/nova/md area. can you change the name of this thread to reflect that?
