You actually have more time to do the dash than you think, and you're probably doing it too early. After the f2, just input a full towards dash, and hold down on :r. Input the 3, and then do the nutpunch. You can get two f3's in, but it's better that you just stick with the easier combo for now.

Most people have trouble with the dash 2's combos. For now, you can substitute all 2's for 11 for your midscreen combos until you get the dash 2 down. The dash 2 is a quick dash motion, and then you immediately go to neutral (as in the joystick remains still) and input the 2. You can input another quick dash, go to neutral, and input the 2. It will take a little while to get used to because you'll want to hold down on towards, which inputs the f2, which is probably Cage's worst normal. Just keep practicing the dash 2, and stick with dash 11 for now.

Thank you, that's actually EXACTLY the issue. I'm very frustrated with the elbow move coming out every time. I'm going to work on this... It's especially hard on the vita 'cause the d pad and the analog are so small. Which one do you think would be easier to work with for these combos?

Btw has anyone seen the lamest tag combo EVER....you do the normal scorpion B+2, 1,1, teleport, 1,1, spear....but as your doing the spear you rapidly click Left bumper and bring johnny cage out and immediately do, B+2 (they will still be stunned by scorpions spear) and after johnny connects, it will make them drop to their knees....EXCEPT you switch back to scorpion and do B+2, it will catch them before they hit the ground and pop them back up in the air....(reset) where you just rinse and repeat....LAME but cool at the same time...

I guess this is the best place to post this. So, all cages have had those situations where they antiair with fwd33. In general you hit confirm this into flip kick, but your opponent still gets a little bit of breathing room.However for meter, you can hitcofirm into an exforceball. When you are near the corner you can then dash and juggle into nutpunch. A little farther out, and all you will get is a shadowkick, and farther than that you will have to use another bar for exshadowkick. Two bars for a little bit of damage? This may not sound very good, but keep in mind that it carries almost the whole screen. I have been using it allot against characters like kenshi and kabal that you absolutly need to corner. This is very situational, but its an easy hit confirm to corner your opponent or end a round when you need to.

@SoapBoxFan you're sounding like me a year ago. The f33exfb into exshadow kick is such a troll move.

2 bars for full screen? No thanks, I need that for ex nut punches.

No, you wanted to constantly use these as main tools. Im quite willing to spend two bars to corner kenshi when he doesnt have any meter to end a round. It will only be used once every few hundred games. You say save it for ex nutpunches, but ex nutpunch isnt that helpful vs kenshi or kabal imo. I agree that im getting a little crazy here, but cage is a character that rarely has to break because he is very safe, builds good meter, and needs to corner his opponent. Do you agree that its worthy to use a bar to get a nutpunch though? That one I will do every time I get the chance.

I'd rather use the f33exfb's to dash in and have a bar for a counter nut on a wakeup. This also doesn't push them as far on different maps, I don't mean by size but the camera speed.

That could also work. And yeah what is up with that? This game makes no sense.

Do you guys have any "stylin" combos? I usually try those kind of combos when I'm ending a match, but I haven't been able to come up with any.

I've been trying to use 13 Nutpunch as an ender midscreen, but no luck. :(

I just do like 3 dash d1s, into exflipkick lol. Johnny cage doesn't need any more style. In the corner you can do 21f2 stepback, 3-exfb,2,2,2,11,13-ex flipkick. The last hit will whiff all wierd if you do it right. Mikemetroid would prob be the right guy for this, lol.

i recently picked up Cage. (i main Sub and Smoke, so i wanted a fast in your face fighter)
I love his playstyle, i use:
JiP, F4, dash 21f2, dash 44, flipkick - 37% (EX adds 2%)
Ofc not as effective as a nut punch setup.

Is this one working post 1.05 (Or in PC)??? Because I'm having a hard time pulling it out. My problems kicks when I try to do "3, ex forceball". I just can't pull it out. Also... Is dash back necessary??

yes its possible. Dash back is necessary for most characters because of their hitbox.
