I'm gonna play Jade in casuals and vs some very specific matches. Plus if somebody picks Jade, well lets just say I'm gonna have a good time as Shang

Nobody else in our group play Jade...

MAT was amazing... Except for the actual tournament part for me (Dat Salt ). But, with that behind us and dem RanBats coming up I've given myself 3 options...

1) Keep playing Sindel... I know it's me that's the problem so, until I have good fundamentals/an actual ground game/not jumping like a tard/etc. Then I can blame my character

2) Go soul searcher, playing side characters more (Sektor, Skarlet, Lao... KANO!!!) and trying characters I never really attempted to play before (Who knows I could play a godlike Sonya) in an attempt to make this player levelling up easier.

or

3) Pick KUH-BAWL!

Sometime going to another character is gonna help you level up when you feel you plateau'd :3

GL guys to level up to be able to fight the best in the US. Only Zaf,Jedah and Jer can do this IMO if they continue training over and over. The bad thing about MTL scene : Not enough good players who play different characters. NO good Smoke, Raiden, Kung Lao, Kitana, Cyber zub zero, Sektor, Cyrax, Stryker, Scorpion, Noob, Sthang tsung, Lui Kang, Reptile, Freedy, Kano, Kabal, Sonya

lol first off , you dont need to learn some of the cast. Lolforo is a good sonya/lui kang and for the people who travel to Toronto they have more match up experience with sonya, kabal, kitana, smoke, cyrax, reptile and johnny cage. A lot of scenes do not have that much variability. For those who are willing to learn will and with your mentality of course they are not going to level up. It is all in the personality imo. If you quit because you think the Scene is too weak then I think the excuse is weak and you just gave up. It really all comes down to fundamentals and adaptability not MU experience. Styles vary when you are going to a tournament like EVO so MU aside it really all comes down to ADAPTABILITY all the MU experience in the world will not prepare you for the style of a player. Just say it. You gave up. that is all.

But Quito tbh if maybe you actually came out to weeklies you'd understand that we play more characters than you think... C-Sword has a good Smoke, Lolforo BODIES me with Sonya (tho I haven't played him in a month ) Quantum's friend is a Kitana/Reptile. Jedah and T.Roll both play Kabal. I'm probably gonna put serious time into Kung Lao/Sektor/Skarlet (I wish Kano wasn't ass since he'd have been front line center on that list). Also T.Roll's Sheeva... GOOOOOD DAYYYYUMM!!! Sure the side characters we pick up are not gonna be as good as our mains (hence side characters) but, we're only so many people.

But with everything I just added aside... An 8 man scene playing 9 characters doesn't sound that bad... I mean we'd have more variety if I dunno more people showed up on the weeklies... Like a certain person... Whose name starts with a Q and rhymes with Buito? Just sayin'

i like how quito just wants there to be a scene and does nothing about it. sits at home and bitches instead of coming out. he could bring fabbe too, but instead he disobeys rule #1. dont be a bitch.

need i remind you the scene was just jer and i for the longest time and we stuck it out. we are trying to build a community. your negative attitude brings nothing to us. where as everyone else keeps coming out.

the best way to get better is to come out. look at leo. he did just that and it did a lot for him

Oh boy where do I even start with this kid. You tell us our scene is weak, yet you show up to random tournaments, talk all kinds of shit and get second to last place. If you want a scene, how about you try building on the one that already exists, instead of just saying "Well our scene doesn't have any players who play these characters, so that's why were not going to level up". Are you insane? I've gotten so much MU exp from this scene alone, and from the states. Everytime I go to the states I learn something new and share it with the whole scene.

I'm so sick of your attitude, seriously. If you have nothing good to say at all or contribute anything to the community then leave and please don't ever show your face in this thread, on the facebook group, or in Foonzo.

Just FYI, were going to be the scene for Injustice, so when you say "See you in Injustice" you really mean "See you on TYM where I bitch about everything on the board, play online only, and don't come to any events".

This is exactly it, funny thing is Hussler could've beat him too, and he's been playing the game for like, a couple week.s

Also, I forgot to mention how happy I am that Quito is giving me recognition on my Mileena play, I don't know how I would sleep tonight not knowing if he thought I was good or not.
