Well even though our little tournament consisted of 5 people (we played round-robin), we did get a lot out of it. Mesmerize from Jax showed up and showed off his impressive Kung Lao to the locals here in Tally. A fantastic display of skill that we all got a chance to learn from so thanks for that. Also thank you to everyone who showed interest who couldn't make it out. GGs everyone!

It Stinks!
I apologize to my fellow FL MK players, but school has just been kicking my ass completely. Whether or not I can make it to casuals is largely dependent on the week, as I'm pretty stuck doing massive amounts of work for school. I also don't think I'll make the next tournament(War on I-4 I think it's called) as I plan on going out of state sometime in December to visit my girl friend.

I'll try making it to the November St. Pete monthly and the Thanksgiving After Tourney, but even then I doubt I can make it. So again, huge apologies to Eddie(Evil Nonsense) as I've missed your casuals twice now, and you're doing a huge thing for the Tampa MK community by hosting those out of your own house, so thank you and sorry again.

We need to get together more often. I also need to check this thread more often. Somebody make plans now for November Casuals, so we can get a bigger turnout than what we had for alma next time.

Don't worry about it. School is, of course, much more important. Hopefully somebody can put up a location and time that's convenient for more people.

Yeah man sorry I couldn't make it out. My son had a soccer game that morning and I was also scheduled to work both Friday and Saturday night that weekend. Try and give atleast 1 month notice before you do the next one and I will see what I can do about making it out there. You guys should seriously come over to Jax sometime for casuals. Just let us know. Mezmerize is a beast, right?

Mezmerize is a god among men in this game >_>. His Kung Lao left me pretty speechless. It was a very educational experience playing against him (he plays damn near every character in the game lol.) Oh and I completely understand about the work and kids - I'm in the same boat frequently. I would like to make it out there to you all's neck of the woods sometime in the not too distant future. Maybe we can organize something. I'll also ask around here to see if we can't get a pool going that would like to hit you guys up in Jax.

Me and Isaac just got together and ran some casuals. We need to get together more often people. There also might be a cafe alma Tourney this month. So keep that in mind.

Just putting you Florida MK fans on notice. Aside from Isaac Mike Ozzie Rey and Jose you all are frauds. Show up to tournaments and quit being the in house champions you all think you are and support the community. If I don't do this I guess no one would so yeah you all are frauds stay free and at home.

Woah dude, if you're trying to get people to show up to tourneys, insulting them isn't the way to do it.

I was wondering if you guys would be interested in attending a tournament in February in Puerto Rico. I think that it could be a really good event and a great tune up for Final Round. The flights there are pretty cheap here in FL. Also you don't need a passport because it is a U.S. Territory. Just a thought. Please let me know what you think. I just wanted to keep you guys up to date on what is going on in relation to the tournament planned for next year in Puerto Rico. The guy that is organizing this event has two dates locked in. February 11th and April 28th. I already informed him that I doubt that anyone from the U.S. will attend the event on Feb 11th because it is too close to Final Round. The two biggest majors in the SouthEast are Final Round and CEO which is in June. The April 28th date is much more realistic for people to travel to. He said that is fine since the venue will be the same for both events he will use the Feb 11th tournament as a test run for the April tournament. If you are a tournament organizer or you know someone that is pease let them know about this tournament on April 28th so that they do not plan anything near this date. I would really like to see players from both FL and GA show up for this event. If you are interested or need any more info about this feel free to PM me. Once the details about this event become available I will post it up for you to see. Thanks!
