I'd like to gauge interest -- would anyone be interested in casuals in west Orlando? I could host any day from Thursday to Sunday, starting whenever the guests want.

I have a 55" TV, Xbox 360, but anyone would be more than welcome to bring their PS3, as desired. I use an eTokki + PS2 controller on this thing anyway.

I don't mind driving to Tampa, but nothing much has been advertised for a while so I'm taking the initiative. Either someone else host or I'm hosting, dang it lol.

Where do you stay at? We play in the UCF area occasionally and are going to start ranbats next Thursday. The more comp, the better.

Hey, good to hear from you; I saw your community project vid on the front page a while back. :)

I'm in Windermere, about an hour from UCF in average traffic lol. I'd be up for ranbats, just let me know the specifics!

If anyone is coming up to EXPCON this weekend, we will be having a session at my house on Thursday night. I live in Jacksonville which is about 25 minutes north of where the tournament is being held. So if you are in the area on Thursday and would like to come out just let me know.

You should try to see if you can also come to NEC in December. ;)


We're trying to get AS MANY players as possible... in kind of a "celebrate" the 'chance' of MK going back to Evo 2012.

In the NEC thread we ATL players have discussed the possibility of renting a van or other large vehicle to take to NEC. Perhaps some of you FL players could make it up to Atlanta and then car pool up to NEC with the GA peeps. Still in the early in the planning but if you guys want in now is the time to start the thinking about it.

Yes, if that is indeed what you guys are planning to do... it would be a great and essential to make those plans NOW.

We have a group of tournaments at our local Gamescape in Tallahassee in the Tallahassee Mall on Saturday, Oct 29th. Here's the information pulled from gamescapes forum:

Saturday October 29th, Tallahassee FL,

Tourney sign ups from 11-12pm

Most tourneys will be run on 360 except for Mortal Kombat which will be on PS3. Bring your own controllers. We will need Systems with DLC and COpies of games if at all possible!

Venue fee - 5 Dollars
Entry Fees
Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition: $10
Marvel vs Capcom 3 $10
Mortal Kombat 9: $10 (All Character's Legal)(PS3)
Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike: $5

For each game 1st place gets 70% - 2nd 20% - 3rd 10%

Start Times
12pm MvC 3
1pm MK 9
2pm 3S

3pm SSF4 AE
