ok I came back from the World of Beer tourney hear in Tampa. I ended up winning the whole thing but I had to come back from losers to do it. I played this guy named Matthew who was a good Ermac player. But first the good and the bad
Bad:
It was on Xbox, so you either had to use a stick or the god awful 360 Pad. On top of that, this version wasn't even patched (aka release date stuff) so we were playing the 1.00 version of the game.
Good:
I met 3 people that want to get heavy into this game. They just joined TYM yesterday. One of them is Matt who I played in Grand Finals. He plays a good Ermac . His brother Chris is learning Kung Lao and this is his first fighting game. They both state that they want to get heavy into this game and have the passion to get better. Jose was another one that is also leaning the game and he's maining Kabal. Also, because of the debacle with the 360, the next time they have a MK9 tourney it will be on PS3 since everyone at the tourney preferred it on PS3 anyway. One more god thing that came out of this is that I can tell everyone that I won a tournament using 1.00 Kano (aka before up ball was made safe)
