Toonami's Back B**ches (5/26/12)

Lt. Boxy Angelman

I WILL EAT THIS GAME
One word: Saiyuki.

One of the few animes in my lifetime I've ever GREATLY enjoyed.

How it has yet to make it to Cartoon Network, I have no idea.

I am hoping to see shows like the Dragon Ball series and Samurai Jack make their return as well. Loved 'em as a kid.

I just wish they'd make more dragonball stuff. I wasn't big on the original dragonball, dbz was probably top 5 greatest things ever thought up, and gt wasn't the best but still super entertaining.. I miss that show :(

And for the love of all that is good, drop Bleach Cartoon Network, just drop it.

Unfortunately, there is hardly any good mainstream (internet mainstream) anime. You really have to dig for some of the really good ones.
Bleach was one of those "internet mainstream" animes back in the day. And now it's just mainstream...period. I like it because it reminds me of Yu Yu Hakusho. In fact, it's almost a rip-off in many ways.

If the shows you guys want to watch don't appear on Toonami's new schedule or if you don't want to watch it at midnight, there's always Toonami Aftermath, which is basically a Toonami stream 24/7. I don't have Cartoon Network so I just use Toonami Aftermath or some other site to watch anime.

Is there a newer Gundam worth watching? I really only like Wing and G Gundam to be honest. One piece runs over 2x as long as dbz with or without its filler included. It should definitely get some time. The reason one piece turned me off when I first saw it was because I was unlucky enough to see my first episode on the 4kids network. I thought the whole series was shit because I didn't actually have the mindset to say "maybe they fucked up the dubbing". I just thought thats the way the show was going to be. Its really a shame they stopped playing DBZ kai on nickelodeon.(or did they not?) Imo Bleach needs to die off. Its like the umvc3 of animes.

gundam00 is better than wing by a lot.

Gundam00 s1 and s2 are pretty good. Just pretend the movie doesn't exist and you'll be good

Oh yeah! There was also this anime I watched about some detective stuck in a kids body. I think it was called Conan or something. I was hardcore into that show.

I never knew this..wow I must actually get back to watching Cartoon Network, I stopped watching it after Teen Titans, Dragonball GT, and Yu Yu Hakusho ended.
Sorry I meant 4:30 and 8:30 for Sailor Moon. Note that Toonami Aftermath isn't the same as the Toonami you watch on television. It's an online stream that plays old Toonami shows. It doesn't have Teen Titans though (maybe in the future).

Cool thanks I'll look into that I've never heard of that specific online stream before, just assumed because I haven't looked at that channel in years lol.

The good thing is that I thankfully got the Teen Titans series on DVD, with the exception of Trouble in Tokyo.
