Madoka getting a mention on TYM. Oh sweet jesus.

Additionally, some Gurren Lagann better get up in this block.

I found this in a news article. I believe that this is what Toonami is planning on running:

12:00 a.m. - Bleach
12:30 a.m. - Fullmetal Alchemist
1:00 a.m. - Durarara!!
1:30 a.m. - Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
2:00 a.m. - FLCL
2:30 a.m. - Cowboy Bebop
3:00 a.m. - Bleach
3:30 a.m. - Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG
4:00 a.m. - Bleach
4:30 a.m. - Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
5:00 a.m. - Durarara!!
5:30 a.m. - Cowboy Bebop

I grew up on this man. I just said 2 months ago that Nickelodeon was smart for bringing back that 90's cartoon/shows/commercials.

And for the love of all that is good, drop Bleach Cartoon Network, just drop it.
Gurren LAgann and Madoka are both top animes of recent years
Unfortunately, there is hardly any good mainstream (internet mainstream) anime. You really have to dig for some of the really good ones.

That is a fucking terrible lineup, both versions of FMA? Really? That can't be right.
its the same version. FMA:B isn't bad at all.

These are my complaints
!) Durararararara over Baccano? Durarara isn't bad but its definitely not as good as Baccano despite being very similar (same team) Baccano is also way more darker because durarara doesn't follow the light novel and goes off its own tangent.

2) Cowboy Bebop? Why its old and done with. Show some of the newer stuff.

3) FLCL? Same reason as above. Though I would rather have Cowboy over FLCL if one had to be up.

4) Bleach? I guess. I mean its one of those casual anime that apparently everybody loves to see. I wouldn't show it but i can understand what it would be in the lineup.

What do you consider mainstream?

I'm more of a cartoon fan than an anime fan, but I remember watching DBZ on Toonami when I was little. Glad to see it's coming back. Hopefully it can get me interested in anime again :)

Probably stuff like One Piece, Gurren Lagann, Madoka, Baccano, Black Rock Shooter, Code Geass, Clannad, Hunter x Hunter, The World God Only Knows, High School of the Dead, Fairy Tail, When They Cry, Katekyo Hitman Reborn, AnoHana, Black Butler, Blue Exorcist, and Hetalia.

Well known stuff, that really isn't everyone's definition of "good" but it has either been discussed at large, or in most cases translated for a time and brought to the states.

I would not considered Madoka, Baccano or Black Butler mainstream but I guess everybody has their own definition.

I see mainstream as things like sailormoon, dbz, one piece, naruto, bleach, yugioh, etc etc

I kinda really wanted to avoid that. I said in parentheses Internet Mainstream. The term mainstream conventionally means Dubbed Anime brought over to wherever it is aired, and gained well reception.

When I say Internet Mainstream, it is my own terminology, based on the likes and dislikes of people I have interacted with over the internet in concern to anime over the 5 years that I have actively been on forums.

So when I say Madoka, Baccano, and Black Butler are apart of that pantheon of internet mainstream. I am saying that internet/online forumgoers that regularly watch anime are at the very least familiar with the entire list I have mentioned.
