This is the current tier list for Mortal Kombat as of May 9th, 2012. Do you guys think this list will change after EVO? What do you think of this list?

S+ - Kabal
S - Kenshi, Sonya, Freddy Krueger
A+ - Jax, Kung Lao, Johnny Cage
A - Smoke, Kitana, Cyrax, Skarlet
A- - Raiden, Rain, Reptile, Shang Tsung
B+ - Sektor, Liu Kang, Ermac, Sub-Zero
B - Quan Chi, Jade, Mileena
C+ - Cyber Sub-Zero, Nightwolf, Sindel
C - Scorpion, Sheeva, Baraka, Stryker
C- - Noob Saibot, Kano

Skarlett will definitely be S tier after her first true tournament outing.
EDIT: I APPROVE OF THIS KIND OF "TIER LIST":) "Top 5 X Bottom 5" is just dumb.

if you look at this list according to how the character would do against the ones in the tiers above them, then I like it, it makes sense were they are. although I think quans kinda in that B+ zone, but he also could have his own Broken zone as well lol.

I do not think there is a definitive worst in the game tbh....

REO great list probably more accurate than mine but it is my opinion and this is how I see things at the moment. Interesting to see how everything pans out eventually...

i think cyrax and kitana are gonna be shown to each have quite a few bad matchups, and i think liu kang will be shown to have not as many bad matchups as people think, and i think someone will show how broken freddy and skarlet can be and how jax actually struggles against a few characters,
i think kenshi is broken and eventually people will show that his only bad matchup is kabal, then maybe smoke and noob saibot, not kung lao and he pretty much destroys most of the cast... i also think kung laos offense is overrated, but the list is still damn good.

The only things I disagree with are I think Sektor should (probably) be A-, Smoke should be A+ (until the f4 reset is removed at least), Raiden should be B+ and Kabal should be in the same tier as Sonya, Kenshi and Jax.

This looks to be the most accurate tier list thus far though IMO

I do agree with people saying that Skarlet potentially could move up the list soon.

I only this list is the way it is because of the buzz that tournaments create in favor of some characters. The fact that the frequency that Kabals, Kitanas, Kenshis & Cages are played in tournaments doesn't necessarily mean that they should be up there just like that. I don't think that Raiden is so low for example. And if Shang Tsung wasn't played by DetroitBallin, he would be somehow forgotten in this list. Also the fact that Ermac made a finals appearance, doesn't mean that from "forgotten" he suddenly gets to be B+. I only think that Kabal, Sonya, Krueger and Cyrax should be up there in A+ or S... As for the others, it's tough to tell... XBlades' Kang and Crazy Dominican's Kitana are easily S+. So is Tyrant's & Cdjr's Jax. Brady's SubbyWubby is A+. And not to mention Pig's Kenshi... He is easily SSS+++ in my opinion... Opinions?

S+++ alpha omega tier Kratos what a stupid character
S+ Kabal (obvious)
S Sonya, Kenshi, Kitana (Kitana is just too good)
A+Smoke, Jax, Cage, Kruegar, Cyrax (broken character tier or reset tier)
A Sektor, Kung Lao, Skarlet, and Shang Tsung(Sektor winnin azz gotta fill out top10)
A- Raiden, Reptile, Liu Kang, Ermac
B+Mileena, Sub Zero, Rain, Sindel, Jade
B Nightwolf, Quan Chi, Cyber Sub, Scorpion, Stryker
B- Sheeva, Baraka, Noob
C(rap) Kano (only really bad character)

this is very close to what REO has only no D tier and every character, besides Kano, B- and better, all useable. Smoke rounds out top 5, Jax 6th. after that all characters except Kano are pretty close and hard to judge. Sindel and Jade are much more solid characters than most people think.

I'm not a player that plays the best in the game or anything, but I find it hard to believe Baraka is that low. Maybe it's because of my former statement and I haven't played a lot of great competition with him.

EDIT: I like how 1 of the best MK players gives his tier list and everyone says, "nah brah, you got it all wrong. It's like this." lol.
