The difference between a Christian in California; which get the modern message of being accepting of people and not being a cockstain on humanity is the difference between night and day than Southern Christians. Nah, I've never been to the south. But in Los Angeles you meet all kinds of people of all flavors, atheists, muslims, every sort of christian, catholic, jew, everything. It's awesome because I love to know about other peoples cultures.

Go look up fbi violent crime stats. Its not baffling really. Criminals don't want to be shot. They also dont care about breaking gun laws. Remove honest persons right to own a gun, they now have nothing to fear. contrary to what most believe, police can't actually protect you.
