You could always try a 3g wifi hot spot device from Verizon. I know you can get on psn with it just don’t know if you can play mk.

yeah you can use the hotspot but that's paying additional just for the service. if you already have a hopspot plan then you are good to go

EDIT: I have read somewhere that you can use the verizon hotspot for the vita so you might be right

I see there are protection plan on PSN. There are for a year I believe. So yes you can get a protection plan. The reason why I mention Best Buy is because you wont have to ship yours in to get a new one (not sure but that might be the process), you just walk in the store and walk out with a new one

Im not gonna lie the battery kinda sucks. I think you get a good 3-4hrs and maybe more depending on what are you doing. As far as standby goes, it surprisingly last for days. so you dont really have to worry about the battery draining when you are not using it.

its wifi only, 3g does not work on it

most vita titles wont support 3g

And from what we've heard Vita netcode version is better

I got a 3G / wireless one... why the fuck not? You're spending good money on it... why not just got for the full package?

I love it, Pig... I have not played one match online via my PS3 since I got my Vita... just the mobility of it, plus the costumes! lol... it's awesome.

The ONLY thing I have had to adjust to is how small the buttons are but it's really not bad.

How is the D-Pad? & is it awkward having to touch the screen to do an X-ray?

The dpad on the ps vta imo is very good. Very responsive, corners register good and it's a good size. I couldn't do shit on the 3ds dpad with sf4, the psvita dpad feels way better. I would say it's better than ps3 dpad also.

I think you misunderstood my post. I fucking know MK doesn't support 3g, I'm talking about evey other game that supports or may support it. Here in Brazil 3G is like dial up RIDICULOUS, don't know there in your country.

3g is pointless with mk, don't waste your money.

I don't have a vita, but I can't see 3G being powerful enough to run any games, let alone MK. I'm really suprised they just didn't go with 4G actually.

So the only reason reason to get the 3G one is if you intent to use it to browse the internet and don't expect to have wifi when you do so. In that case it makes sense, and a larger screen than your smart phone would be a big plus.

You can hook your vita up to your computer and the connection is fantastic. Obviously it nullifies the portable properties, but if you want an online experience like never before, then it's the way to go.

Pig I got a wifi one but my brother just got one today and he opted for the 3g version because you get a free 8gb mem card with it plus a free psn game so all in all your only paying like 10 bucks more since you have to get a memory card for the wifi version and no free game. I don't regret getting just the wifi one since I basically did buy it just for mk9 but something to think about nonetheless. Look forward to getting bodied by you online lol
