Sorry guys, I can't make GU this week. I have a birthday party to go to. I WILL be there next Friday - will anyone be joining me? I'd love to see an awesome turnout!

MK and Skullgirls, yeah. Heading to On The Edge in New York this weekend and Toryuken in Toronto next weekend. Might go to UFGT8 the weekend after that, I'm not sure yet.

e: Yeah I just registered for UFGT8, so it's the next three weeks that I won't be around.

I've got work until 9:30, but I'm thinking of showing up sometime after that. How long are you guys planning on staying? I just got back from a business trip, so I'm itching to play some MK haha.

Hey all! I'm new to the area, just moved up to Boston a few weeks ago. I posted in the Meet and Greet thread and didn't notice this one til just now. I'm looking to get into the New England MK scene and meet some new people! What's this GU everyone's posting about?

Game Underground on Route 9 in Framingham, MA (1251 Worcester Road Framingham, MA). They have casuals every Tuesday and Friday, starting around 6pm and ending when the store closes (usually around 2am on Fridays and around 11pm on Tuesdays). I'm usually there every Tuesday and Friday but I'm going to miss a few Fridays cause I'm going to a lot of tournaments this month. I'll still be there Tuesdays though if you want to come down and play some MK :)

I'm in North Yarmouth. I mapquested directions from my house to fryeburg and it says it would take 1 hour and 20 minutes :( but still, if any tournaments go down in Maine we'll probably both be there

Awesome! I'm not sure if I can make it tomorrow but I'll try and get out there on Tuesday. Looking forward to it

Sounds good, it's been a while since I've played so I'm looking forward to getting rocked. Is there a charge for playing at GU?

There's a $5 venue fee, unless less than 10 people show up in which case they usually don't charge anything. Tuesdays are usually slow so I wouldn't expect to have to pay venue tonight.

Sounds good. When are you planning on getting there? If I drive there straight from work I'll probably get in around 6:15-6:30.
