NRS Screwed up Jade. No really, they messed up her scaling.

Just like Sindel, NRS messed up on Jade.

No matter what in a combo if Jade shadow kick hits, she gets 1%. Anything following that is scaled to basically nothing or 1%.

For example. In the corner, if you land a 23,f2 shadow kick, on the consoles you can do a 1,2 follow up loops for some good damage. In the vita version anything after the shadow kick gets scaled to...0%.

This means that in the corner she gets a whopping 17% off of a 13 hit combo.

It scales on her b3,2, her 21f2, basically any string that can be followed up with shadow kick into more strings will be reduced to zero. I seriously hope there is a patch fix for this...

On the console you can follow up any 23f2 midscreen with a shadowkick into a d1 staff grab for like 23%. Now, it gives you 17%.

This is obviously a scaling bug and I doubt it was an intentional bug as Sindel seems to have a similar issue. Shadow kick should be giving more damage than one percent as well.

Why are people making so much fuss over how balanced the Vita version is? Why does any high level player care about Vita? Isn't it just some toy for kids to play in the back seat of the car while their parents take them to McDonald's?

Isn't it just extra challenge tower missions and a few extra costumes?

Did I miss something? Are Evo qualifiers now going to be on this upgraded Game Boy or something?

I bought it so I could play it away from my gigantic tv...you know, on the go. On a plane, in the car, on the john etc. My main is Jade, and she is gimped right now. It is not an intentional nerf, just a bug. What would be the best course of action to get this point known? Hector? Paulo?

Seriously, NRS? Can you just make one CONSISTENT VERSION of this game? You have the wonkiest programmers known to man; what're they doing...snorting coke off hooker's ass cracks coming through the programming team on an assembly belt? C'mon...

I know you guys don't play the game, or can even perform a bnb, but is it really that hard to go onto TYM > Character Forums > JADE KOMBOZ and look at what the damage SHOULD BE? /infinite facepalms forever.

I've heard that this wasn't even a problem when your team hired component beta testers who play the game competitively, so what the hell man? You have some rogue programmer who breaks into the office and just fucks the game up intentionally the day before launch or something? You need to fire that guy because he's costing you guys a lot of unnecessary money; break his knee caps for all the glitches he added to Komplete Edition too okay?

Thankfully this is just the Vita and not consoles so it's less of a big deal.

The only thing I can think of is that the people that work for NRS main sindel and jade and they beat people in the office with them so they in turn say omg these characters are so over powered so lets nerf them some more cause we havent nerfed them enough yet ( sindels 5th nerf) The public don't know shit -_-

I found out why these characters got nerfed unintentionally...

This is collateral damage from what they did to fix Jax's damage after a corner OTG EX Ground Pound. Plain and simple. This is not intended to happen, and we can do our part to make it known which we have done.

Let's move on and play!

I think it's apparent that it was unintentional, the question is...can it be patched on the Vita. She is my main :(

That all depends on how it is programmed. Perhaps Sindel's b1 and Jade's b32 and 23f2 (the 2 part) simply put their opponents into a specific defined state that can be worked around to put the damage back to normal. But I don't see this getting changed or fixed without a full fledged patch, sadly.
