Guide Post Patch Skarlet Combo's

I would give up on that idea - Blood Ball will hit for 6-8% in a combo setting, depending on which combo you do (there are only a couple corner's that allow BB to connect). If BB didn't scale, it would be worth it as a round-ending combo (special = unbreakable), but it does scale, so it's not worth it.

im thinking about heading out to ceo to compete but i dont know if my skarlet is going to be ready to vs "great" players by then... since i just picked her up no longer than 1 week ago and the tourny is soon. we will see how it goes....i might have to go back to practicing shang. anyways, i cant wait to see your guide, i want to see if theres anything im missing in the game. How i usually start games is jumping back and ex air dagger, then as soon as i land red slide df4... to bad you xbox i wanted to play ya, i have ps3

Sorry I didn't get to play you. Other people were challenging me lol. And sorry about the lag to everyone I played. I get like 50-60% signal strength on wireless and I know how hard it is to play Skarlet in lag. v.v

ceo is in orlando florida for me, its like a qualifier for evo i think. or hope lol. i doubt i will reach 1st place by the way i've been losing to people but hey, i dont care i want to at least try to get on everyones level or if not that , exceed it.

I'm a visual learner so I'd prefer the video, but do whatever you feel is necessary. :)

Might not count but u3,u3~dagger,f4~dash~upslash,112 for 35%, although the chance of 11(2) connecting is lower.
You can also use U3 for Mileena's regular teleport, I don't know if you meant the enhanced version when you listed it.

Nice Somberness you sly dog - added to the list and listed mine as an alternate. I should've seen this as possible from my 2,1,2,DF1- xx 2,3,DF3,F2 xx 1.1.2 -- 31% combo.

You'll see new additions to this list, including a combo I just made up to best Somberness' new combo (sorry buddy, this shit just comes to me):

Oh yeah Somberness in reply to your thought about U3 against mileena's regular teleport - I was indeed assuming an EX teleport + air sai, forcing Skarlet to begin her combo from a crouch position.

I could have sworn I saw a combo in that list that was a 40% standing reset. I went into training mode to test it. I don't remember if I did 2,DF1 before the 1,1,2 but it should go something like this:

B2,DF3,B2 -- B2,DB2 -- 2,DF3,B2- xx 1,1,2 -- 40%
B2,DF3,B2 -- B2,DF3,DB2 -- B2,DF3,B2- xx 1,1,2 -- 41% (Much harder)

EDIT: Nevermind I guess it's the same as the first standing reset combo except replacing the F4 at the beginning with B2.

It should be as easy/hard as the 38% F4 starter combo since they are the same with different combo starters, and that one isn't very hard if you can land the B2 after Down Slash. Please don't take this the wrong way Ninj :( . I mean, you listed her 54% wall combo, which is probably her most difficult combo to do.

Btw, there is also a deep JK combo where you can hit confirm it rather than going straight for an Air Dagger. It goes something like:

Where art thou, MKX Skarlet?
It should be as easy/hard as the 38% F4 starter combo since they are the same with different combo starters, and that one isn't very hard if you can land the B2 after Down Slash. Please don't take this the wrong way Ninj :( . I mean, you listed her 54% wall combo, which is probably her most difficult combo to do.

Btw, there is also a deep JK combo where you can hit confirm it rather than going straight for an Air Dagger. It goes something like:

Deep JK, dash, F4, Red Dash, Up Slash, dash, 2, Dagger Toss dash cancel, 1, 1, 2

Despite my back and forths with Altaire, I'm really not one to take anything the wrong way ;) I think I may have phrased that aggressively by accident - it wasn't intended to be.

You're right, I should go back and list the various 46-52% wall combo resets.

I also should've been more clear - B2 comes at a price, since it can be ducked, whereas F3 and F4 can't. I always recommend B2,DF3 on ANY combo you're trying to land a B2 starter with (on block cancel +24 on hit cancel +36) to give you time to react accordingly.

PS a tip before I leave for the bahamas - standing 2 and F4 deal the same damage and can be easier to land in some situations, so always play with that.

Maybe I'm messing up but I get 45% for this combo with no JIP. Also I don't know if this combo was in your list but I didn't see it.

B2,DF3,B2 – U3, DF1, 2, 3, DF3, F2 xx 2, 3, DF3, 4 - 45% which is the same damage I was getting for the combo above and seems easier to me.

i may have found somethin with bloodball, if u finish a combo wit b11f4 high bloodball it catches them rolling back for unscaled damage unfortunately dats all it works for, but if your opponent always rolls it could come in handy ... feel free to flame me for this im just throwin it out there ;)
