What kind of poll is this I don't see Sektors 1, 2 b+1 on the list.

It's great but it's -1 on block, slow and gets blown up by walk back.

I dont imagine it other wise though. the -1f still makes her safe. If it was 2x faster it would be OP i guess, but other then that its a great tool, i'd say one of her mains.

Lol. You are making a joke, right? Because Kenshi's sweep is the most pathetic move in the game.

I'll make a list of maybe not THE BEST, but ones that stand out that I personally find great. My top 3 best normals in no order would be:
- Kabal's F4. Fast, resets, fucks up your poking, catches you jumping out.
- Stryker's standing 4. Just an awesome fast normal knocking you back, and easily AAing into roll for solid damage.
- Kenshi's B2. Closes space. 11% overhead so it's great in his mixup game. Neutral on block and can go into EX Spirit Charge frame traps. Ridiculous hitbox so it can hardly be jumped over. Combos into 30% in the corner off a D3.

Lol who put Kung Lao's 2,4? PL? His F3 is better than most specials in this game. Convenient hitbox, cancelable into specials on it's own, gets in under IAFBs and shuts down spacing shenanigans if necessary.

Guess I'll go with Kabal's F3,2 for now though.
Shoutouts to Sub's B2 on a side note, good damage scaling, cancelable, works as an oki on frozen opponents, sets you up for just about anything.

Do nothing but f3 strings and see what they do to get out of it...They usually do get out of it when they aren't being TOO glitchy .

I think we are kidding ourselves if we are not voting for Cage's f3. The move links to the most devastating links and pressure in the game, and really needs to be respected more than any other move in my opinion. Sonya d4 to MS mix up's is pretty amazing as well.

Sub's 22 is better than his 21, as it can be canceled into 4, clone, D4, throw, etc and most importantly ice ball for a nice kombo. My $.02

it's hard to judge the normal without considering the follow up by specific characters.

Cage f3 by far.

D4 by baraka, mileena, and Sonya.

Kabal f4 is VERY good.

Sektor has a few normals worth mentioning.

m2dave I wish you would have stuck w single attacks like mileena's d4, cage's f3, sonya's d4 ms, kabals f4 etc because listing combos and asking which are best normal attacks is confusing

Cage's f3. Sub-Zero's d4 should be on there instead of 21, though. D4 at close range on a standing opponent makes 21 and 22 inescapable, even by low hitbox characters, and is a great baiting tool at close to max range. It is also the fastest d4 inthe game, with really good range and great recovery.

Sub's d4 is one of the best footsies tools in the game.

I voted cages f3, as I think that for a single normal it comprises the largest portion a characters game-plan.
I'll second motions raised by others; subs 2,2 is better than his 2,1, KLs f3 and 2,1,2,1,2 are better than his 2,4, Sektors b1 and f2 are awesome, also his b2 is pretty sick.

Good point, but no one does stuff like d+4 xx MS with Sonya. Everyone almost always goes for MS f+1.

I should have probably added Sub Zero's d+4 instead of 2,1 and Kung Lao's f+3 instead of 2,4. I should have also added Sektor's 1 and Smoke's b+2.

Sonya D+4 MSF1 and Cage F+3 tied. Subs 21 is trash. Sektor F+2 should be there. Thats easily a top 5 best normal.

Imo, Sektor's b3 should be in the list. I think that's a top 5 normal. f2 would be nothing without b3.

I voted for Sonya's D4. I think Cage's f3 is just extremely feared at the moment and a little overrated (still think it's great though).
