Sonya D+4 MSF1 and Cage F+3 tied. Subs 21 is trash. Sektor F+2 should be there. Thats easily a top 5 best normal.

Kung Lao f+3 - One of the best ways to get in.

Johnny Cage f+3 - Best 9f attack with great range and priority.

Sonya d+4 - Just because of the military stance follow-ups.


My top 3. Too bad Jade's u+3 was nerfed, that move used to be fucking amazing and the best normal. Shout outs to moves like Sektor's standing 1 and f+2, really good normals as well.

Random advantage shouldn't even be a factor, unless you like to jump out of Cage's pressure (which is a horrible idea).

It's in the game so it's a factor, whether or not it was intentional. It's pretty much single handedly the best pressure move in the game. I'm sorry but the simple fact that I CANNOT CROUCH puts it pretty high up there playpal.

I agree. I voted for f+3 too. I think it's between f+3 and d+4 xx MS f+1, but the latter is at least not +9. LOL.

Sub's 22 is better than his 21, as it can be canceled into 4, clone, D4, throw, etc and most importantly ice ball for a nice kombo. My $.02

I want you to go against the computer (in training mode) with you being Johnny Cage. Turn that AI to expert and make sure they have no meter.

Do nothing but f3 strings and see what they do to get out of it...They usually do get out of it when they aren't being TOO glitchy .

Random advantage is not more block stun. It's this weird animation you do when you let go of block. You can cancel this animation with an attack move. Therefore, if JC is doing f3 f3 f3 f3 while you're crouch blocking, you will always be able to poke out.

It's great but it's -1 on block, slow and gets blown up by walk back.

I think you've misunderstood me. You will ALWAYS be able to poke out of JC's f3 f3 f3 f3 f3 f3 f3 pressure. Even if you're crouch blocking.

This is what the random advantage looks like. It's not more block stun, it's an animation you suffer that keeps you from jumping for an extra 10 frames. Attack moves will come out like the normally do.
